Designed by Yeltzman a very nice links Course where phil Mickleson won his open title in 2013.Realy enjoyed this course not only did the fairways and greens capture the look and feel of a proper links course.But the surrounding landscape looks just how a links course should look,well done Yeltz great course.I still think this theme needs a bit of an update to add longer whispier grasses and also a different texture for the fairways a more dried out looking feel to it.

Carnoustie Championship Course
Since its return to the Open Championship circuit, the Carnoustie Championship Course has re-established itself as perhaps the greatest test of golf in the world. That's a fairly lofty position to attain but few tour players would argue especially recalling the 1999 event. With wind, rain and wild rough in ascendance, this supreme Scottish links course rose to full tournament stature and quite frankly frightened a lot of the more pampered players back to the clubhouse.

Extended Tournament Highlights | 2018 Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open
South Africa's Brandon Stone equalled the lowest round in European Tour history to win the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open.
The 25 year old became the 18th player to shoot 60 on the European Tour – Darren Clarke has done it twice – and the fourth to do so on a Sunday on their way to lifting the trophy.
Stone's scintillating ten under par effort was almost one better though – he missed from seven feet on the last for what would have been the first 59 in European Tour history.
He carded eight birdies and an eagle in his first 16 holes at Gullane and needed to play the last two in one under par to break the magical 60 barrier.
A clubhouse target of 20 under par never looked like being matched as Stone recorded his third European Tour title, and also claimed one of three places in the field at next week's Open Championship

Bangour Village Hospital
was a psychiatric hospital located west of Dechmont in West Lothian, Scotland. It was officially opened in October 1906 (under the name Edinburgh District Asylum), over two years after the first patients were admitted in June 1904. The hospital closed in 2004. After 1918 Bangour General Hospital was created in the grounds, closing in 1989.
