Public House and Restaurant in Llangernyw Conwy
Llangernyw, Conwy, Wales
Advert Ref: 3479
Business Description
Preferred Commercial is delighted to offer for sale this busy public house and restaurant, which was built in 1642 and which has been in our clients' careful hands since 2005. The pub is only now being offered to the market due to our clients' wish for a change of career. The business trades 7 days a week and generates a turnover in the region of £276,000 per annum with a gross profit of 65%. The Old Stag offers an extensive range of real ales, fine wines and spirits, along with traditional pub food. The pub is well-supported by the local community and hosts regular entertainment nights such as quiz and curry nights. We feel the turnover could be further increased by embarking on a modest marketing campaign and perhaps by extending the opening hours to open all day. The business has a loyal customer base and an excellent reputation, as well as being listed in the 'best 50 drinking holes in Wales' journal. There is a website in place advertising the business and services provided. The premises boast a spacious restaurant area, bar and commercial kitchen. There is also 4-bedroom owners' accommodation, some of which could be converted into letting accommodation, if required. This is an ideal opportunity to acquire an already popular pub and restaurant with tremendous scope to future development. Early negotiations with Preferred Commercial must come highly recommended.

Moelfre to Llanrwst and back
I had another fantastic, if not, slightly more adventurous day with The Splinter Group: Dave (S'Zookys) and Alan. As usual, I won't go into too much detail as I'm sure you'd prefer to watch the video. Our first lane was in Moelfre (after another breakfast in the Whistlestop in Rhuddlan). We then headed out towards Llanrwst, and then back.
The lanes were more tight scratchy and gnarly - more technical than the previous couple of videos, so I'd highly recommend you watch it all.
I won't bore you with the three or four stops to clear obstacle (I think three obstructive, thick branches) and a massive boulder which had to be winched out of the way of one of the paths.
I also drove over a large sizeable log that got stuck jammed around my transfer box and prop shaft. My gear lever was jammed at one point and a massive thanks to Dave and Alan who managed to get their hands in and saw, twist and jiggle the log out.
Anyway, thank you once again to Dave for leading and Alan for planning the route, and navigating. It was an awesome day.
Please subscribe to my channel. I promise to update it regularly. Also, please like, comment and share.
Dave is also ZookBob on eBay so I'd recommend you pay his online store a visit if you need any Suzuki parts.
