Autumn Walk Around Lakewood near Uckfield, East Sussex.
On a recommendation, the lovely Julia and I visit Lakewood, a Woodland Trust nature reserve near Uckfield in East Sussex.
Once part of the Rocks Estate, the mix of natural and man-made features at Lake Wood create dramatic and beautiful views. We wander around and take in the autumn colours, explore the carved rock tunnels and admire the beautiful lake.

The Cat Visits Uckfield - Dick and Dom in da Bungalow - CBBC
In Series 5 (September 2005 -September 2005) of 'Da Bungalow', each week a short, five-minute feature would be shown of the travels of 'next door's cat', who would visit the Bungalow to recount the tales of his adventures. It was puppeteered and voiced by Dave Chapman. The film was normally a short segment about a town, full of irreverent comments about the people and the monuments that the Cat came across. One such town included Uckfield!

Exploring an Abandoned Police Cottage UCKFIELD
I visited these police cottages. I can't seem to find any information on this place. I am assuming it was built in 1819 by the Date Stone high up and in the middle of the front of this three storey building.

Built in 1722 by Sir Thomas Medley, Buxted Park’s history is as colourful as it is long. Over the years, this East Sussex hotel has played host to movers and shakers including William Wordsworth, Winston Churchill and Marlon Brando. The Belmont Care Home Eastbourne (part 1)
The Belmont Care Home Eastbourne
August 2015
This will be part 1, this video shows pretty much the entire 1st floor, many have failed to get in here, i think i struck it lucky when i came, a small climb then lowered myself down then through a hole and ended up flat down on a kitchen work top. There is no graffiti here and not really much vandalism and the copper thieves have not been. I believe not long after my visit a young lad had entered and broke his neck, i may be wrong on that though. And since then security was tightened even further, at this time i believe it is still there with plans to demolish it, but currently on hold because of a major sewer line which runs directly under the site.
All information can be found by doing a Google search..

Some of which may be very interesting.

Abandoned Altbridge care home (So many documents left)
So for a while I've been searching for this location, Thanks to Abandoned Adam who's link will be below i was finally able to make the trip out.
The care home has been abandoned since 2006 due to there being a short supply of nursing staff to care for the people living here, The former residents were moved to other care homes near the area and the building along with its content was left.
A few days after filming this video i made a return trip to get some picture which ill post over on Instagram for you to check out, while there i got the chance to speak to a local who turned out to be a police officer, he was a great chap who told us about a few ruins not far from there and also how the locals are trying to get this former care home turned into a hotel and restaurant.

Following the River Ouse Around Shortbridge, near Uckfield
I am out for another walk on the Sussex Footpaths looking at the heritage, landscape and nature of this fabulous country. This time I am exploring the area west of Uckfield, close to Piltdown. It's wet and muddy and some paths restricted, but the scenery is glorious and the countryside breathtaking. I start at a lovely 17th century pub, the Peacock Inn and follow the river Ouse for quite a while.
I hope you enjoy it.

Photo Walk Around Sheffield Park & Gardens in East Sussex
In this video I visit Sheffield Park and Gardens in East Sussex and go on a photo walk around the grounds capturing the beautiful scenes within the grounds. It was a very hot day, and was a challenging video to make as was very busy, and at sometimes I was so warm I felt like my batteries were dying.
