Ex GWR King Class 6024 King Edward 1 visits Fishguard 03/07/1999
Not the best quality I know (VHS), but an interesting run to Fishguard for 6024 King Edward 1 in 1999.
In steam days, the Kings were not allowed West of Cardiff, and here we see one venture to the Western extremities of Wales to Fishguard. I'm afraid I don't have details of where this run originated, but hopefully it will bring back memories to those of you that were there.
Firstly wee see the King in full cry as it storms up the gradient passed Llandarcy Oil Refinery, which has now been closed and the land covered by housing.
We the see the train being hauled by a class 37 on the section from Carmarthen to Fishguard. Next we see the King lifting the Train out of Fishguard through the old Goodwick Station, and finally, as it enters and departs Llandilo Junction, East of Llanelli.

Christ Triumphant Ever Reigning: Greenfield Baptist Church Llanelli South Wales
This past Thursday I visited Greenfield Baptist Church In Llanelli South Wales in playing this lovely 2 Manual Harison and Harison Pipe Organ. I was here a good few hours doing these videos so please show your support.
I visited here a couple of years ago, and I always wanted to come back, but communication broke down. So I recently went to a recital and we where back on Track.
For the Videos I'm using the Panasonic HC V720 and a Matched Pair of Rode NT5's all placed at the back of the Church (Quite an upgrade since I was here last!)
So as it's Christ The King this Sunday in our Church Calender, I thought Id play the first of a few hymns Christ Triumphant Ever Reigning Mission Praise Number 77
Many Kind Thanks to the minister of Greenfield Rev David Jones for such a warm and friendly welcome, and I'm always very welcome to come here to play.
Hope you enjoy this video and please subscribe to my channel to show your support:

From the album Bad, released August 31, 1987
Released as a single October 21, 1988
THE SHORT FILM
Director: Colin Chilvers
Primary Production Location: Los Angeles, California
Michael Jackson's short film for Smooth Criminal was the sixth of nine short films produced for recordings from Bad, one of the best selling albums of all time. The Smooth Criminal single hit No. 1 in Spain and The Netherlands and reached the Top 10 in the UnitedStates, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland and Switzerland. In the United States, Smooth Criminal reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100-the sixth single from Bad to do so-as well as Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles charts.
In addition to being a standalone short film, Smooth Criminal became the centerpiece of Michael's most ambitious film project at the time, Moonwalker, a feature-length film that was released theatrically in various countries outside of the United States. In the Smooth Criminal portion of the film, Michael and his friends face off against the notorious drug lord Mr. Big (Joe Pesci) and attempt to foil his plot to get the children of the world hooked on drugs-but of course, in the end, Michael defeats the villain.
The musical portion of Smooth Criminal takes place in the magical Club '30s, where Michael instructed his friends to meet him. While Katie (Kellie Parker), Zeke (Brandon Adams) and Sean (Sean Lennon) find the club to belong abandoned, Club '30s springs to life when Michael shows up, wearing a blue and white pinstripe suit and fedora.
As the kids watch through the window, Michael flips a coin into the jukebox and leads the club patrons through a dazzling performance to Smooth Criminal. Here, Michael shows off updated versions of his signature dance moves. He also debuts one of his most iconic dance moves: the anti-gravity lean, a seemingly impossible move.

The Queen and Their Royal Highnesses arrive into Dorchester on the royal train
We were delighted to play our part in welcoming Her Majesty by royal train to Dorchester for the unveiling of a statue of The Queen Mother.
We’d like to thank everyone who visited the town's stations for their cooperation as our officers carried out searches and prepared for the arrival and departure of the royal party.
Events like these take lots of planning so it was great to see everything go without a hitch.
Chief Inspector Sarah White explains what we do around royal train movements.

Lions To A Man: A modern day battle hymn for the rugby field.
-LYRICS
Men of Britain and of Ireland
Stand together now as one land
Men of Britain and of Ireland
Lions to a man
See your foe and mark his movement
This time now it is your moment
Show your strength in raging torrent
On this battle field
-CHORUS
Lions we salute you
Lions we salute you
Wondrous Lions, fearless Lions
Filled with pride and strong desire
Forged from steel and cast from iron
Men of Britain and of Ireland
Show the power of our great lands
Lions will not yield!
Hear our voices loudly blaring
Feel our pride, our hope, our caring
Give your soul, your truth, your bearing
Lions of our land
Feel our heartbeats, pulses racing
Make your dreams, so all embracing
You're the hope of all our nations
Lions of our land
-CHORUS
Lions we salute you
Lions we salute you
Wondrous Lions, fearless Lions
Filled with pride and strong desire
Forged from steel and cast from iron
Men of Britain and of Ireland
Show the power of our great lands
Lions will not yield!
Lyrics © Ollie (D. J. Ward)
The video shows the making of Lions To A Man, with appearances from Lions legends Phil Bennett, Delme Thomas and Gerald Davies. Filmed on location at the Llanelli Male Voice Choir (Cor Meibion Llanelli) practice hall and at the Swansea Metropolitan School of Digital Media recording studios at Dylan Thomas house. The lyrics were written by Swansea based poet Ollie (D.J. Ward) to an original choral arrangement by choir leader Eifion Thomas based upon the hymn Men of Harlech. Additional brass arrangement by Peter Williams and played by Andrew Gifford. The song was recorded mixed and mastered by the Masters' students of the Creative Sound Production course at SMU. The song is intended as a rousing battle hymn to inspire the British and Irish Lions to victory in their summer tour of Australia in 2013.
