Seaglass, Marbles, And a valuable Lesson!!
I found some beautiful treasures on the shoreline today!
But what I found most important about this whole Sea glass adventure video.... is the story I was told by a fellow Glasser I hadn’t seen on the beaches in quite some Time....
She had been down on the shore glassing by herself, she was around the cliff face when a rogue wave crashed upon her, the wave and current then pulled her back into the ocean. It pulled her completely under smashing her against the sides of the cliff, she lost a lot of valuables even her shoes.... luckily she did not lose her life...So a valuable lesson is to be learned from this video...Please Watch!!
I want to thank everybody for watching and if you haven’t already please subscribe to my YouTube channel.... Have a great day all!! ♥️????????????

Seaham Sea Glass Beach
Starting in the early 1800's, the Seaham glass bottle factory used to dump its waste glass offshore into the North sea. For over 100 years, the salty water, sand, and rocks polished the glass into smooth round pieces as they washed up unto the pebble beach head. Today, they are gems for those who make glass jewelry and tourist looking for a souvenir.

Gigantic Wave: Sebastian Steudtner @ Nazaré, Portugal - 2019.02.07 [Surf, Big Waves, 4K]
German Big Wave Surfer Sebastian Steudtner, 33 years old, rode a spectacular monster wave in Portugal's Nazaré during the giant swell of February 7th, the footage was just recently released during the presentation of this years nominations for the WSL Big Wave Awards, in which Steudtner’s wave is now one of the final 5 waves nominated for the Biggest Wave Category. The Awards ceremony will take place in California on May 2nd and a winner or potential new World Record official measurement will be announced .
Locals described this wave as one of the biggest waves of the season and one of the biggest ever. Pedro Miranda, the Filmaker who captured this footage who also captured Rodrigo Koxa’s current World Record last season, said on a statement to the press: “February 7th, was a really tough day to capture video in Nazaré, the myst was thick and the light was terrible, even so I’m really happy to have captured Sebastian’s Wave, that thing was monstrous and Sebastian’s ride was flawless, for sure one of the biggest and most spetacular waves I’ve ever captured out there”. When asked about a potential new world record with this wave, Miranda stated “I don’t like to go into speculations, the official measurements will be presented by the WSL in just a few days, this was one of the biggest waves of the season for sure, calling this or any other wave from this season a New World Record is just a game that I prefer not to play.
Sebastian Steudtner was teaming up with Brazilian Big Wave Surfer and holder of the current Guiness World Record for Biggest Wave ever surfed by a Women, Maya Gabeira, who towed Steudtner into this monster wave and rescued him after the ride. About this wave in particular, Maya said the following statement to the filmmaker: “I’ve towed Sebastian to several big ones during that session, but this wave was special, it was the biggest wave I’ve watched during the all season for sure, really glad for him”.
Sebastian Steudtner, who already won the WSL Biggest Wave Awards two times (back in 2010 and 2015), posted on social media an unofficial measurement sent to him by the German Institute for Solid State Physics, where using the WSL measuring system the wave could potentially be measured at 95ft.
“I got blasted with people sending me stuff speculating about the size of my wave that’s up for the @wslbigwave biggest wave award this Thursday. A very interested professor of the German institute for solid state physics, sent me this picture using the official WSL measuring system to determine the size of the wave. 95ft is an impressive number, we will find the 100ft wave soon enough :) in Sebastian's Instagram.
Praia do Norte beach, near the fishing village of Nazaré, has become famous worldwide for huge waves in 2011, when Hawaiian surfer Garrett McNamara set a world-record for the largest wave ever surfed at 78-foot at the time, in 2017 that record was broken by Brazilian surfer Rodrigo Koxa, setting the bar at 80-foot.

Charles Trénet's 'La Mer' from Mr. Bean's Holiday (HD version)
Climax of the film 'Mr. Bean's Holiday', where the entire cast join in miming the magnificent 'La Mer' by Charles Trénet on the beach at Cannes.
An added note for elucidation:
This is the original. Charles Trénet wrote both music & lyrics to 'La Mer' and it was recorded by him in 1946. There have been several interpretations in French and other languages.
The following excerpt is from the Wikipedia entry for 'La Mer' (the song)
English lyrics, unrelated to the French lyrics, were later written by Jack Lawrence and entitled 'Beyond the Sea'.
The English version has been recorded by many artists, including Benny Goodman, Mantovani, Roger Williams and Gisele MacKenzie, but Bobby Darin's version released in 1959 is the best known by many, reaching #6 on the Billboard Hot 100.”

The last Yagan Indian - The Beagle
We all love fish, but we are running the risk of seeing them go extinct. Could extending the fishing limits to the center of every ocean solve the problem?
The Yagan Indians were killed off by good intentions: with the missionaries came lethal diseases from the civilized world. And then later the genocidal European settlers arrived. We visit the last full-blooded Yagan Indian in Tierra del Fuego, before sailing on through the notorious waters of Cape Horn, where the Beagle was very nearly ship+wrecked.
Original title: Beagle: On the future of species
This voyage was the most important journey ever made. Hundreds of thousands of birds, dolphins all coming racing to the ship. Plancton coming in from the plankton recorder, enormous tracks of the megatherium. The Galapagos was a paradise. It’s just the strangest most wonderful feeling to walk amongst these animals and birds and not feel an intruder. They like you, they don’t mind. It’s all just too special for words. An unforgettable experience for the passengers of the ship – and for viewers of the programme.

Clean Up Song | Tidy Up Song | The Singing Walrus
Hi everyone!
Our Clean Up Song teaches the topic of cleaning up, helping children understand that at the end of every activity, it is necessary to put everything in its place :).
Like our Good Morning Song and Good Bye Song, this Clean Up Song is written to help with classroom management (kindergarten, preschool, elementary school, early ESL classes), but it might also be great for parents at home!
For ESL and EFL teachers:
The song is written as a simple call and response song where the kids repeat the phrases It's time to clean up and Time to tidy up.
During the breakdown parts, they also review the names of every day objects, as well as practice the phrase Put the ... away.
Mother Hen also repeats the expression I like to .... in the verses.
As you can see, there are plenty of expressions to review in this song!

Minster Lovell - verschwundene Personen, Skelette, Geister: pittoresk und makaber
Erst lesen, dann anschauen!!!!!!!!
