Roller Coaster Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach Front Row POV
Join us for a ride the awesome 1932 classic wooden coaster called Roller Coaster
This is possibly my second favourite woodie in the UK after Megafobia at Oakwood, this classic coaster has it all from its 3 trains still using an on board brakeman, great track layout, smoothness and it's nice to look at with its striking boarded sides
Definitely a classic coaster that's worth a visit to ride, pov filmed in 1080p 60fps using a GoPro Hero Session
Disko Off-Ride HD Pleasure Beach Great Yarmouth UK
This ride is located at the Pleasure Beach, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, UK.
Disko was opened in the Pleasure Beach in 2004, just like the Skydrop. It was designed and manfactured by Zamperla. Up to 24 people can ride at a time, with the whole ride lasting about two minutes. You are held in place by wearing a seat belt, and just before the ride starts a pad of some sort rises and pushes your back, making you lean forward and holding you in securely.
REVIEW: This ride is fun, and gives you a rather odd, unique sensation. This is mainly because you sit facing the outside. The feeling is very strange, especially when you are at the full height and feel like you're gonna go over the edge.
Seating Comfort: Low
Stomach Feeling: Low/Medium
Intensity: Medium
OVERALL RATING: 7/10
Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach Vlog 24th June 2018
Join us for the final vlog from our day at Great Yarmouth is Norfolk England UK as we visit the classic Pleasure Beach amusement park
Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach first opened way back in 1910 making one of the oldest parks in the UK and along with the classic wooden 1932 Roller Coaster the Pleasure Beach really is worth a visit
Vlog and on ride povs are all filmed in HD 1080p 60fps using a GoPro Hero 6 with official accessories
Sky Drop Off-Ride HD Pleasure Beach Great Yarmouth UK
This ride is located at the Pleasure Beach in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, UK.
Skydrop is a drop tower designed by Zamperla. It was shipped from Italy and opened in the park in 2004, becoming one of the most technologically advanced rides ever in Great Yarmouth. It also became the tallest ride in the park, being 22 meters (72 ft) tall (just beating the rollercoaster and Evolution - which are both about 20 meters high). It is powered by compressed air (like Rush at Thorpe Park) and controlled by a computer which tells the pistons exactly how much air to use on its ascent and descent. The ride usually drops 4 times, with the last time holding you at the top for about ten seconds. Every drop always results in a few bounces afterwards, before it suddenly goes straight back up. 16 riders can go on it at a time, and enjoy the comfortable seating which all faces in the same direction.
REVIEW: This ride is quite good fun, and one of my favourites in the park. There is only a few things that I don't like about it. One being that it's not very big (for me anyway), and the other that it gets boring quite quickly.
Seating Comfort: Medium
Stomach Feeling: Medium/High
Intensity: Medium/High
OVERALL RATING: 7/10
Roller Coaster POV - Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach - Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, UK
One of many on-ride point of view coaster video's I have filmed and collected over years of coaster tours around the world (this one 1998). Video is only taken with the park / ride manager's permission. Please ride safely.
Evolution Off-Ride HD Pleasure Beach Great Yarmouth UK
This ride is located at the Pleasure Beach in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, UK.
Evolution raises up to 20 meters (65 ft) into the sky on its giant arm, as the cars revolve 90 degrees on their axis. Up to 40 people can ride at a time. Evolution opened at the park in 2006, and was designed by the Fabbri group.
REVIEW: This ride is actually quite scary. You end up going at all sorts of different angles which can be rather frightening when you're up high in the air. This ride is rather uncomfortable, as when you first get on you think you're secure but once it's at the top you feel like you're gonna fall out. It is a great attraction to the Pleasure Beach.
Seating Comfort: Low
Stomach Feeling: Low
Intensity: High
OVERALL RATING: 7/10
pleasure beach great Yarmouth | England Tour
Without any doubt Great Yarmouth is one of the wonderful place I have ever visited in UK, actually I have to say great Yarmouth is full of beauty.I love the sea beach.
Orbiter Off-Ride HD Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach UK
This ride is located at the Pleasure Beach, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, UK.
Orbiter (also known as 'Extreme' or 'Extreme Orbiter' is a fairground ride invented in 1976. It is found in many different places - this particular one opened in 2012. Most come with 'over the shoulder restraints' and some others (including this one come with 'over the leg' restraints. Most Orbiters have 6 arms, each with 3 cars for 2 people. Some tilt more than others.
REVIEW: Just about this particular one. It is a good new attraction to the Pleasure Beach as it lasts a good few minutes. It goes round fast, and makes me quite dizzy which is what I like. However, the seats are not at all comfortable. I have been on two different Orbiter rides (the other at Lowestoft) which had much more comfy seats. It should have 'over the shoulder' restraints in my opinion.

An unexpected visit to the Pleasure Beach - Great Yarmouth
Video made from photos taken during an unexpected visit to the pleasure beach at Great Yarmouth Sound recorded as I walked around the arcades.
Great Yarmouth - British Seaside VIDEO TOUR (Norfolk, UK)
So it was our first time visiting Great Yarmouth, finally! We had never made it past Cromer on the Norfolk hump! It reminds me of Blackpool, but with less fights and less drunken people, just! Hundreds of arcades!!! We almost didn't make them all! lol! We started in the town as that is where we found the free parking! It was a nice walk to the seafront from there.
----------------
Great Yarmouth, often known as Yarmouth, is a seaside town in Norfolk, England, straddling the mouth of the River Yare, some 20 miles (30 km) east of Norwich. A population of 38,693 in the 2011 Census made it the third most populous place in Norfolk. It has been a seaside resort since 1760 and provides a gateway from the Norfolk Broads to the North Sea. Its longstanding fishing industry, mainly for herring, declined steeply after the mid-20th century and has all but vanished. North Sea oil from the 1960s led to a brisk oil-rig supply industry that now services offshore natural gas rigs. More recent offshore wind power and other renewable energy create further support services. As a tourist centre, Yarmouth became prominent when a railway built in 1844 gave visitors easier, cheaper access and triggered an influx of settlers. Wellington Pier opened in 1854 and Britannia Pier in 1858. Through the 20th century Yarmouth was a booming resort, with a promenade, fortune-tellers, pubs, trams, donkey rides, fish-and-chip shops and theatres. Other attractions include the Pleasure Beach, the Sea Life Centre, the Hippodrome Circus and the Time and Tide Museum, and the one surviving Victorian seaside Winter Garden in cast iron and glass.

During our holiday to the nearby Caister Holiday Park, we decided to spend a day at The Pleasure Beach in Great Yarmouth.
As teenagers in the 90's, Ems and myself spent quite a few summers here attempting to romance each other and using the rides as an excuse to get closer to each other!
Who would've thought 20 years later we would be bringing our own children to ride the very same, rusty, rickety old rides?!
