Qantas Singapore Lounge
Look around the huge and very comfortable Qantas Singapore Lounge, at Singapore Changi International Airport. Access to the lounge is by flying in a premium Qantas / OneWorld cabin, or by Qantas / OneWorld status. It's directly next door to the British Airways lounge.

Qantas First Class - Singapore to London Heathrow (QF 1) - Airbus A380-800
In this video, we have a look at a Qantas First Class flight from Singapore to London Heathrow on board an Airbus A380-800.
After arriving from Sydney, I head to the Qantas Singapore Lounge to relax for a couple of hours while the aircraft refuels. As a First Class passenger, I’m given a personal escort and tour of the lounge. I review the layout of the lounge, which includes a couple of large sitting areas, a massive dining hall, and a bar. The lounge sets aside a number of tables for First Class passengers and other VIP guests. The dining hall features an extensive buffet spread and a hawker centre-inspired open grill and cooking station.
Once I re-board the A380, I take another look at the First Class product. I review the hard product in immense detail during the flight – this includes the seat positions, IFE system, massage function, storage, lighting, ventilation, etc.
During the 14 hours flight, I’m served two meals – a supper is served shortly after take-off, and breakfast is served just prior to landing. The First Class menu is designed by Australian chef, Neil Perry, and the food/drinks are served on elegant tableware designed by David Caon.
On this night flight, Martin Grant pyjamas and amenity kits are provide. The lie-flat bed is one of the most comfortable in the skies. The comfortable bedding ensemble used in First Class is from Sheridan. Martin Grant pyjamas and amenity kits are provided as well.
The A380 has a small common lounge on the upper deck that is shared by First and Business Class passengers. Apart from a TV, magazine stand and a number of seats, there’s a small refreshment area where snacks and drinks can be found.
When I arrive in London Heathrow, I’m the first to get off the plane and one of the first to get through UK immigration, thanks to a fast-track card I’m given just before landing. After picking up my luggage at the carousel, a prebooked complimentary chauffeur collects me in the arrivals hall and sends me to my hotel.

Qantas Virtual Reality reveal of new Singapore First Lounge
Qantas is using virtual reality (VR) in the development of its new First Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport, which is set to open at the end of 2019. Industrial designer David Caon and his team have created an immersive virtual reality representation of the design concept, providing a better way for Qantas to preview and fine tune lounges. A similar approach is being used for the airline’s upgrade of its A380 cabins.
