Siblingship Cabaret at The Q
DANIEL ASSETTA AND CHIARA ASSETTA
Siblingship follows the childhood journey of Daniel Assetta (The Book of Mormon, Wicked, CATS) and Chiara Assetta (West Side Story, Good Omens, The Dismissal), two real-life, all-singing, all-dancing, Italian-Australian siblings. Through classic show tunes and a splash of pop music, this dynamic cabaret explores the ‘rules’ that make the world’s most unique relationship work. Siblingship is a show for everyone who ever fought with, told secrets to, stood up for, laughed and cried with, absolutely couldn’t stand—but always loved and could never live without—their siblings.
Written by Tobias Madden, Daniel Assetta & Chiara Assetta
Directed by Scott Irwin & Danielle Barnes

Video of Art Project UNIC Canberra did with Students from Valmar Services Queanbeyan
On 30 November, for the International Day of People with Disabilities, the UN Information Centre (UNIC) in Canberra partnered with St Benedicts Community Day Centre and students from Yass and Queanbeyan to create a banner celebrating ABILITIES.
In the spirit of the 2012 theme removing barriers to create an inclusive and accessible society for all, people with disabilities participated in every aspect of the nine meter banner -- from painting squares to gluing them onto the canvas and filming and photographing the project.
Alex Carlton created a fabric collage of bacon and eggs in a frying pan to show my cooking skills through my work experience at the Kangaroo club.
The banner saying Don't Dis my Ability -- Look at my ability was displayed at the Festival of Ability in Queanbeyan. An Australian band of musicians with disabilities called Rudely Interrupted kept things lively with its music, just as it did during its 2010 International Day performance at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Sue Fabisch's Motherhood The Musical TV Ad
This is the commercial for Sue Fabishch's Motherhood The Musical showing at The Q from August 14th - 19th August 2012.
A baby is just the beginning. Motherhood is for life.
Motherhood The Musical is a hilarious, musical journey about the lives of four mums. There's Barb, an over-worked, underpaid, stressed-out mother of five; Brooke, the lawyer, who works too much and barely sees her kids, Trisha, a single mum struggling to balance work, her family and her divorce and finally Amy, the naive young woman about to have her first child. As the three friends throw Amy a baby shower, the truth about motherhood (the good, the bad and the ugly) all come out into the open: the nappies, the dirty laundry, the lazy husbands, juggling the demands of children, a career and everything in between.
Written by the award-winning singer/songwriter Sue Fabisch, Motherhood The Musical has received rave reviews during its Australian tour. You'll love this joyous musical journey as it looks at the blessings and the perils of being a Mum. This is all about laughing and crying, craziness and calm, smiles and tears, all wrapped up into 90 minutes of great musical entertainment.
Brought to you by the Australian Producer of the smash hit Menopause The Musical®, Motherhood The Musical will travel nationally for 25 weeks in 2012 to capital city, metropolitan and regional theatre venues throughout Australia.
For anyone who is, has, or knows a Mum.

In this short series, we look at how Queanbeyan High School discussed the issue of bullying in school and what they themselves had to say about the issue and why they chose this topic as their entry for the 2017 ACT regional Wakakikirri competition.
