CHURCHILL BROS EMBARK ON I-LEAGUE 2017-18 MISSION UNDER MYKOLA SHEVCHENKO, APPEAL FOR SUPPORT
Churchill Bros will begin their I-League 2017-18 journey from December 4 at Shillong Lajong and the Varca-based club departs from Goa on Wednesday under new head coach Mykola Shevchenko. The only Goan club in the I-League, has called upon the local fans to come out to Fatorda and support the team during their home games, the first of which is scheduled for December 19 against Chennai City FC. C.E.O Valanka Alemao has also announced daily lucky winners for the home-game raffle, stand to win a motor-bike and smart phone.
Churchill play their first four I-League games away at Shillong Lajong FC (Dec 4), Mohun Bagan (Dec 10), Aizawl FC (Dec 13) and East Bengal (Dec 16).

Final Matches & Prize Distribution - CLOSING CEREMONY @7UpDGEFL
Team Dubai Police & Dubai Municipality won the 7Up Dubai Government Entities Football League 2013, organized by Dubai Refreshment (P.J.S.C.), the sole franchisee, manufacturer and distributor of Pepsi-Cola products in Dubai, Sharjah and Northern Emirates, in partnership with Dubai Sports Council [DSC].
In a closely-fought final, Team Dubai Police beat Team HH crown Prince Office [1-0] for the below 37 years old and Team Dubai Municipality beat Team Dubai Health Authority [2-0] for the above 38 years old. The final match was preceded by an impressive Closing Ceremony, which involved a wide array of entertainment and cultural performances, followed by a laser and light show as well as fireworks.
Tarek El Sakka from Dubai Refreshments handed over the 7Up Dubai Government Entities Football League 2013 Trophy to the captain of Team Dubai Municipality & Dubai police. Individual medallions, cash prizes & mini I-pads were also handed over to the winning team, followed by the runners-up.

Meanwhile, in other matches, the General Directorate for Residency and Foreigners Affairs will face His Highness The Ruler's Court, Dubai Health Authority will take on Dubai Police while Dubai Airports Corporation will cross swords with Civil Defense Department to decide the other teams to advance to the knockout stages.

The Closing Ceremony was followed by a raffle draw for the Chevrolet Spark, which was won by Hamid.
The 7Up Dubai Government Entities Football League matches were played 3 times a week and were interspersed with entertainment events, raffle draws, a dedicated Children Zone, as well as a VIP zone, among others every Saturday. The raffle prizes were from Bosch, Samsung TV & phones, Wild Wadi, Rotana Hotel, Atlantis Hotel, Dusit Thani Dubai, Meydan Hotel, Ramada Plaza, Al Hallab restaurant and sweets and Dar el Kamar restaurant.
The league was a major initiative by Dubai Refreshment to promote values through sporting extravaganza with football, the most popular game in the world. The entire tournament was played on a very professional level -- both on the organization as well as technical aspects and provided a unique opportunity for government entities to bond, network, and display their soccer skills.
