Cheltenham part I
Cheltenham is a spa town and borough in Gloucestershire with a population of about 110,013. And it's less than a hundred miles from London. Cheltenham is on the edge of the Cotswolds and has an image of being respectable and wealthy. Cheltenham has been a health and holiday spa town resort since the discovery of mineral springs there in 1716. The spa waters continue to be taken recreationally at Pittville Pump Room, built for this purpose and completed in 1830. Cheltenham's success as a spa town is reflected in the railway station, which is still called Cheltenham Spa, and spa facilities in other towns that were inspired by or named after it. The town is said to be the most complete regency town in England, with its houses, characterised by intricate ironwork balconies and painted stucco facades, line the historic Promenade, squares and terraces and with award-winning gardens, impressive range of stylish shops and restaurants, and its festivals of horse racing, music and literature.

Last Calls for Cheltenham - 1965
The old GWR terminus station at Cheltenham Spa (St James) lost a considerable amount of its purpose in 1961 when through trains over the MSWJR were withdrawn, closely followed by Kingham services the following year. By Summer 1965 just a few DMU services to Gloucester survived and a number of these are seen in May at the station and the nearby intermediate Chelenham Spa (Malvern Road), complete closure taking place on 3rd January 1966.

1S51 Cheltenham Spa to Birmingham New Street HST in 360º (View in 4K)
The biggest feature on this section of the journey has to be the infamous Lickey Incline! From the end of Bromsgrove station the line climbs at a steady 1 in 37.7 straight for exactly 2 miles and whilst not such a big deal for today's modern passenger traction, some freight stiils require a banking locomotive to help climb the bank. From Kings Norton, 1S51 gets caught behind local stopping services into Birmingham and after the series of tunnels after Fiveways station, the train emerges briefly into the daylight before being plunged into the darkness of Birmingham New Streets subterranean platforms.

*RARE* LNER Class 800/1 Azuma At Cheltenham Spa | 18/06/2019
I was in Cheltenham doing stuff and a friend of mine pointed out that an LNER Azuma was passing through. I looked on Real Time Trains and it was running 20/30 min early.
As far as I know, this was a certification test of 800 113. Please correct me if I'm wrong as I have no Idea it was here.
I was able to film this because I am not at school as I have completed my GCSEs.
