Alleged reindeer farm employees seen kicking and abusing animals

Welfare charity Animal Aid said they collected footage at three centres in Kent, Staffordshire and Cheshire in 2017 and 2018. They claim they found reindeer with raw, exposed skin and even filmed one worker kicking an animal at the Kent Reindeer Centre. Animal Aid also claimed that one creature at Blithbury Reindeer Lodge in Staffordshire was in such poor health that it had to be put down. A charity spokesperson said they had reported their findings to each area's Trading Standards department, DEFRA and the RSPCA.
