What is meant by 'eyes right' in a marching military formation?
this happens when the Flight/platoon or company/Squadron is on parade and is marching. When marching past the parade commander or the reviewing officer (a politician/ or high ranking officer reviewing the parade as a guest), the order EYES RIGHT! or EYES LEFT! depending which side the parade commander or the reviewing officer is on. then all the soldiers in the parade will turn their eyes 90 degrees to the right, while using their peripherals to march in a strait line. The right or left marker will keep their eyes to the front depending on which side the order is called, to help the rest of the parade to keep in line. this is a gesture of acknowledgement, just like the salute to acknowledge the parade commander or the reviewing officers rank. while this order is called, the flight/platoon Sargent will salute the parade commander or the reviewing officer.

Gareth is looming but still travelling on Scottish Railways (12th March 2019)
This day in Scotland was filmed during Storm Gareth but it wasn't going to stop me from on Railway adventure... even know it did later on in the evening!
Today journey started at Edinburgh Park and travelled to Edinburgh Waverley on a Abellio ScotRail Class 365 EMU and then caught a Class 385 EMU to Longniddry for a morning film on the East Coast Main Line.
After Longniddry, I went back to Edinburgh Waverley and a quick walk across the platform, boarded the 0935 to Linlithgow for some filming of EMUs, DMUs and even a Class 68 locomotive!
After Linlithgow, I moved to Polmont when it poured with rain for a while! but was under a shelter and still carried on filming including the Southbound London North Eastern Railway Highland Chieftain.
After Polmont, I went to Falkirk Grahamston to change trains and caught a Class 158 to Dunblane to hopefully captures some EMUs at this location but turned out to be mostly DMUs apart from a Class 385 EMU which arrived before I left and travelled to Camelon to film at this stations which EMUs from Class 365s, Class 380s and Class 385s stopped at this station but then I moved onto Greenfaulds Station.
But while at this station getting the Prestwick to Grangemouth empty oil tanks, which was worked by a Class 56 locomotive the rain came down and was also windy which started at Camelon and decided to forget Cumbernauld and move onto Falkirk Grahamston but it was still raining and windy which made me to retreat back to Edinburgh Park and to the hotel at half 5!
Part 1 can be watched here:
Part 3: Prestonpans, Wallyford, Gorebridge, Dalmeny, Falkirk High, Partick and Garrowhill with a journey onboard 2105 CrossCountry service from Glasgow to Edinburgh via the Edinburgh Suburban Line.
Part 4: Newcraighall, a mini chase with 60163 Tornado, Kirknewton and the Shotts Line.
