Teddy (Jack Kilmer) is an introspective artist whose best friend and sidekick Fred (Nat Wolff) is an unpredictable live wire with few filters or boundaries. While April negotiates a dangerous affair with Mr. B., and Teddy performs community service for a DUI - secretly carrying a torch for April, who may or may not share his affection - Fred seduces Emily (Zoe Levin), a promiscuous loner who seeks validation through sexual encounters. One high school party bleeds into another as April and Teddy finally acknowledge their mutual affection, and Fred's escalating recklessness spirals into chaos.
'The Hateful Eight' Star and Director Make Surprise Visit To Australian Screening
It isn't everyday one of Hollywood's most recognisable directors and actors drop by your local cinema, especially in Australia. That's what happened at the Ritz Cinema in the Sydney suburb of Randwick, when Quentin Tarantino and Samuel L. Jackson dropped in to say hi to moviegoers at Saturday night's 6 p.m. screening of their latest flick, The Hateful Eight. The crowd went crazy according to the Ritz Cinema's Facebook post, and why wouldn't you. It's motherf*cking Samuel L. Jackson and Quentin Tarantino, after all.

UGC Sydney presents CASABLANCA
After a long five year wait, Underground Cinema was finally able to pay homage to one of the most beautiful films of all time, in a way that it truly deserved. Dressed to the nines in their 1940s best, UGCers prepared for La Guerre (The War) and sought transit papers by any means possible. Through secret appointments with shady characters in the Morrocan medina they traded what they could for safe passage out; most were hustled, some succeeded, but all got to sit back and relax at Rick’s Café Americain and watch the secret film in the end:
The timeless classic Casablanca. We think this is a start of a beautiful friendship....

2nd Annual Lebowski Bash (Sydney)
PHONE'S RINGIN' SYDNEY.
Think back, if your White Russian and Thai stick-addled brains can allow you to do so, to a glorious evening of Walters, Jesuses (Jesi?), Smokeys, the occasional bag of dirty undies, amatures, nihlits, pederasts (not really!), Maudes, and F*ckin Veterans. A night filled with Caucasians, Logjammin', and toes -- with nail polish! A magical evening, no doubt. But something was missing. Even on Shabbos the answer was obvious. Bowling! That's right folks, we're doing it all again, and THIS time, you really can say f*ck it Dude, let's go bowling! Lebowski Bash is BACK. The Second Annual Lebowski Bash Australia is rolling your way, April 20th (what better day, Dudes?) 2013 at the Randwick Ritz Cinema and April 21st at Manhattan Super Bowl! No, you're not dealing with morons here. We heard your moaning last year and turned this years' Bash into a Super Bash! A two-night extravaganza worthy of Jackie Treehorn himself. Night 1: Costume contest (here's a tip, if you show up as Arthur Digby Sellers in an iron lung, you win!). Break out your purple jumpsuits, your jelly shoes, your handlebar moustaches, and what have you, because the prizes this year are better than ever! Kahlua White Russians and Oat Sodas at the 'Gary's Bar', Lebowski Tribute Band, a Duder rug raffle (because how else are you going to tie that room together) and of course, a screening of the Coen Brothers Classic -- and our favourite movie ever -- The Big Lebowski. Night 2; We roll. Throwin' rocks. Slammin' em. Whatever you wanna call it, we just call it far out man, far -- f*cking -- out. Put your El Duderino-iest bathrobe on and joint us at Manhattan Super Bowl for bowling, serious Lebowski trivia, League Play, Duder DJ, more White Russians and what-have-you, because...hell, I lost my train of thought here.... And we do move on to the Next Round Robin! Am I wrong?
