Heavy lid for a head
Spin a shoulder
I’ll slip and fall and bend
Cursing what I think about
Until I shout
Excuse me
I'm a reactor
I cry and cry
But I'm just an actor
Far from your distractor
Hey hey I'm a reactor
Turn over, seeping in
To the gutter
You push but I resist
Cursing what I think about
And my self-doubt
Excuse me
I'm a reactor
I Cry and cry
But I’m just an actor
Far from your distractor
Oooo
Hey hey I'm a reactor
Excuse me I’m a reactor
I cry and cry
But I’m just an actor
Far from your distracter
Ooo
Hey hey I’m a reactor
Yes I am

Alaska 2018 - 8 [Hanging out in Whitehorse, Yukon]
We stayed in Whitehorse, Yukon for a few days and spent some time checking out the area. We boondocked in the Walmart parking lot. You can walk or bike to almost everywhere from there. We haven’t hooked up since we left Portland, OR.
SS Klondike (
The SS Klondike is a riverboat that used to travel up and down the Yukon River that they dragged up onto the land. Now you can tour the boat. Start at the visitors center for some information. Then there’s a film you can watch in a tent that shows footage of the riverboats on the river and gives you a ton of information about them. Then you can go tour the boat. Some parts are closed for renovation but you can see quite a bit of it.
Miles Canyon (
Further down, or up, the Yukon River is a parking area for Miles Canyon. From there you can take a number of hikes of varying lengths. It used to be called Grand Canyon but it’s not near as big as the one in Arizona. We did about a 3 mile hike along the river then up around through the woods. The views were stunning.
World’s Largest Weathervane (
There’s a DC3 mounted on a stick that acts as a weathervane. It doesn’t seem possible but it really does move.
Sadly, we saw no animals in Whitehorse.
Our Nowhere I’d Rather Bisbee pillow came from Black Sheep Imports in Bisbee, Arizona. (
Space Giraffe pillows came from Ikea. I guess they don’t sell them anymore. They’re not on their site.
This video was shot on an iPhone X ( and edited with iMovie.

Cycling through downtown Whitehorse, YT.
A quick ride through downtown Whitehorse on two wheels captured using the GoPro camera. For the most part, Whitehorse is pretty bike friendly. It's a small town so it's easy to get around on a bicycle and the roads are accommodating to cyclists with many of the main roads having dedicated bike lanes. I found the condition of the roads to be decent but you really have to watch out for big rocks and loose gravel on the side of the roads. Bike racks for bicycle parking were easy to find along downtown Main Street which made it convenient to park and shop along the strip.
Top Of The World Highway - Yukon Road Trip Vlog 9
I intended to go far, far North but unfortunately the Dempster Highway to Inuvik was closed because of heavy rain flooding. Then I directly continued going to Alaska main land, taking the incredible ride on the Top of the World Highway, that connects the Yukon with Alaska, where I spent most of the time by myself. Not seeing any cars for hours and camping in absence of any humans out at lakes in Canada's beautiful wilderness. Trip of a life time vibes!
PS: I only use biodegradable dish washing soap outdoors!
This is how I find my campsites:

Class A Motorhome RV Living: Season 3 EP052 July 15, 2018 Get more of our stuff at
In this episode, we roll out of Dawson City, Yukon, over the Top of the World Highway and into Chicken, AK.
Dawson City was an absolute blast and we're really glad we made the stop!
The Top of the World Highway, didn't turn out as bad as everyone had said. I think the dryer conditions made it more palatable. If it was really wet and slick it would prove to be much more challenging!
Beautifuly scenery continues to show up around every corner!
