The Rocks Ghost Tour
Ghost Tour of The Rocks Sydney August 2017
The Rocks Ghost Tours
The Rocks Ghost Tours concentrate on the more macabre and exciting things of the night. Many of these stories have been pieced together by locals and historians with information handed down through the generations. These are stories you won’t read on Wikipedia, and the tour will give you experiences you won’t get on a regular Sydney city tour!
There are two routes our evening walking tours take. There is the Dark North tour, and the Dark South. They have the same general make up, but take different routes to different locations and accordingly have different stories. We run them on alternate nights, or if we have more than 30 people on one night we will split the group into north and south and send them off with a host in each direction. If you specifically want to do one or the other, get in touch and we’ll advise which might be the best evening to come.
In many ways, The Rocks is something of a time capsule of early European life in Australia, and is one of the most unique of Sydney’s history tours. Much of The Rocks sandstone architecture is relatively unchanged from when it was built over 200 years ago. With that comes the original spirits and ghosts that wander unhindered through their familiar haunts. This is no Luna Park sideshow. There are some genuinely creepy stories involving The Rocks. When you experience these, you will feel the truth of the matter.

Extreme Ghost Tour at Q Station, Sydney
Traveling to Sydney soon? Feeling brave and adventurous? Head on to Q Station and try their extreme ghost tour.
I've read a few articles online about ghost tours in Sydney, but I didn't have the chance to try it the first time I went there last year. When I came back weeks ago, I made sure that I won't miss the chance. Special thanks to Jason for accompanying me on this extreme ghost tour.
A fair warning though, this is defo not for the faint-hearted.
But, if you ask me, I would love to do this tour again!

Quarantine Station Sydney Australia - Some History and Ghost Tours.
I look at some history and take a few tours. I've had a few experiences there on the ghost tours, notice the Orbs in the photos. I was walking down this pathway and I felt someone hold my hand, I didn't tell anyone but at the end of the pathway the guide asked if anyone had felt anything hold there hands, apparently a little girl wanders down the path looking for her parents and regularly holds adults hands.
For over 150 years the Quarantine Station was for many, the beginning of a new life in Australia after making the arduous & lengthy journey from their homelands. Ships suspected of harbouring people infected with contagious disease such as Spanish Influenza, Smallpox or Bubonic Plague were quarantined here so that these deadly diseases would not reach the general population in Sydney. Ultimately a success story for the growing Sydney population, it did however leave an indelible mark on those that were quarantined; tales of love and loss play out alongside themes of cultural and social change, medical history and progress.
The Cellar, The Rocks, Sydney
This video footage was taken down in the cellar of a private house in The Rocks area of Sydney, Australia. The Rocks is a well know area for spirit/ghost action and this house lived up to this. We caught numerous light anomalies which reacted with our equipment, EVP, cold spots and experienced chest and back discomfort and dizziness. We later found out that a man had been murdered here along with many other happenings which we will tell along with our other postings of this particular house in The Rocks.
Paranormal Investigation of a Private House, The Rocks, Sydney
We were asked to investigate this house due to the owners having a few experiences. After spending the night there they were happy to know that even though we did pick up some evidence it was not enough for us to say the house was definitely haunted.

SCARY Sydney Quarantine Station AT NIGHT! | Paranormal Investigation
The Q Station is situated on the North Head of Sydney and dates back to the early 1800s. It was built as a way to keep those already residing in Australia safe by containing the spread of disease from immigrants. Many people perished at this place, leading many to claim this Sydney Quarantine Station to be one of the most haunted places in Australia. Read more:

Exploring The Rocks, historical heritage area of Sydney, located at the foot of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, neighbouring between Circular Quay and Millers Point. The Rocks area is a great place for historical urban exploration.

We walk around The Rocks Markets areas and into The Argyle dining and nightlife area. A climb up the Argyle Stairs with views of The Argyle Cut Bridge and over to the foot of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, where we see bridge climbers beginning their journey over the Harbour Bridge. Over to Susannah Place Terraces, haunted terraces now a museum with daily tours, then across the road on Gloucester Street, to The Big Dig, archaeological site where foundations from houses and shops dating back to 1795 and over 750,000 artefacts have been found from Australia's first European settlers .
