The 1975, Robbers (live), Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco, CA, April 22, 2019 (4K UHD)
The 1975 play Robbers live in concert at their sold-out show at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California on April 22, 2019. The song was originally released in 2013 on their self-titled debut album. The 1975 are from Manchester, England and consist of Matty Healy (lead vocals), Adam Hann (guitar), Ross MacDonald (bass), and George Daniel (drums).
Matty Healy has said in interviews that the song was inspired by the Quentin Tarantino movie True Romance: It’s the sentiment behind the film that appeals to me, the hopelessly romantic notion that two people can meet and instantly fall in love, an escape story where love is the highest law and conquers all against the odds. Characters like Bonnie and Clyde always appealed to me as a teenager – couples so intoxicated with one another that they fear nothing in the pursuit of the realization of each other, actions fueled by blind unconditional love. ‘Robbers’ is an ode to those relationships.
Lyrics:
She had a face straight out a magazine
God only knows but you'll never leave her
Her balaclava is starting to chafe
When she gets his gun he's begging, Babe stay, stay, stay, stay, stay
I'll give him one more time
We'll give you one more fight
Said one more line
Will I know you
Now if you never shoot, you'll never know
And if you never eat, you'll never grow
You've got a pretty kinda dirty face
When she's leaving your home she's begging you, stay, stay, stay, stay, stay
I'll give you one more time
We'll give you one more fight
Just said one more line
There'll be a riot, 'cause I know you
Well, now that you've got your gun
It's much harder now the police have come
Now shoot him if it's what you're worth
But if you just take off your mask
To find out that everything's gone wrong, wrong, wrong
Now everybody's dead
And they're driving past my old school
And he's got his gun, he's got his suit on
She says, babe, you look so cool, you look so cool, you look so cool
You look so cool, you look so cool, you look so cool

Lyrics:
And this is how it starts
You take your shoes off in the back of my van
My shirt looks so good
When it's just hanging off your back
And she said use your hands and my spare time
We've got one thing in common it's this tongue of mine
She said she's got a boyfriend anyway
There's only minutes before I drop you off
And all we seem to do it talk about sex
She's got a boyfriend anyway
She's got a boyfriend anyway
I love your friend when I saw his film
He's got a funny face but I like that because he still looks cool
She's got a boyfriend anyway
She's got a boyfriend anyway
Now we are on the bed in my room
And I'm about to fill his shoes
But you say no
But do you say no
Does he take care of you
Or could I easily fill his shoes
Do you say no
Do you say no
And now we're just outside of town
And you're making your way down
She's got a boyfriend anyway
She's got a boyfriend anyway
And I'm not trying to stop you love
But if we're gonna do anything we might as well just f**k
She's got a boyfriend anyway
She's got a boyfriend anyway
You've got your tongue pierced anyway
You in your hightops anyway
You in your skinny jeans anyway
You and your fit friends anyway
I'd take them all out any day
They've all got back combs anyway
You've all got boyfriends anyway

The 1975 close out their sold-out live concert at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California on April 22, 2019 with The Sound. My apologies for a little vibration on some of the closeups; the crowd energy was off the charts and the balcony was literally bouncing up and down. The song originally appeared on the band's 2016 album I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It. The 1975 are from Manchester, England and consist of Matty Healy (lead vocals), Adam Hann (guitar), Ross MacDonald (bass), and George Daniel (drums). Joining as dancers and backup singers on this tour are Taitlyn and Kaylee Jaiy (a/k/a The Jaiy Twins).

Driving Downtown - Sunset Strip 4K - USA
Driving Downtown Streets - Sunset Boulevard - Los Angeles California USA - Episode 80.
Starting Point: Sunset Boulevard .
The Sunset Strip is the name given to the mile-and-a-half (2.4 km) stretch of Sunset Boulevard that passes through West Hollywood, California. The Strip is probably the best-known portion of Sunset, embracing boutiques, restaurants, rock clubs, and nightclubs that are on the cutting edge of the entertainment industry. It is also known for its trademark array of huge, colorful billboards.
Cultural Aspects:
The Sunset Strip portion of Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood has been famous for its active nightlife at least since the 1950s.
In the 1970s, the area between Gardner Street and Western Avenue was a center for street prostitution. Shortly after a well publicized June 1995 incident, police raids drove out the majority of prostitutes on the Boulevard.
Part of Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood is also sometimes called Guitar Row due to the large number of guitar stores and music industry-related businesses, including the recording studios Sunset Sound Studios and United Western Recorders.
The portion of Sunset Boulevard that passes through Beverly Hills was once named Beverly Boulevard.
At 4334 W. Sunset Boulevard, lies the wall featured on the cover of the late singer-songwriter Elliott Smith's 2000 album, Figure 8. Since Elliot's death in 2003, the wall has become a mural for the artist where fans have left many personal messages over the years.

Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles
One of the most iconic thoroughfares in the United States, Sunset Boulevard continues to live up to its legends. In the old days, it represented the classic and glamorous Hollywood lifestyle and became the setting of several famous films, including the obvious classic Sunset Boulevard. Today, the palm-lined street (which connects downtown LA to Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the Pacific Coast Highway) retains its cinematic appeal, and the Sunset Strip portion has become a popular nightlife spot. The strip is also home to many classic music venues, including the Rainbow Bar & Grill and The Roxy Theatre.
Recent visitors loved driving along this famous boulevard, adding that gorgeous sunsets can be enjoyed during late afternoon drives. But like other parts of LA, this thoroughfare gets congested once rush hour hits, so plan accordingly.

STORYLINE
JONAS BROTHERS LAUNCH CLOTHING LINE AT THE ROXY
The Roxy was rockin' Friday night, as the mega pop trio Jonas Brothers launched a new line of clothing for children. Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas said their relationship with American Eagle, who developed the Jonas line called 77Kids was a perfect fit--especially since everyone wears clothes.
They were also ' honoured ' that the celebration was at The Roxy, an historic venue.
The super-star boy band, whose latest album, A Little Bit Longer debuted at #1 in the US noted their life has changed. Nick admitted the brothers learn things about life every day and they do their best to make their mom proud.
When it comes to their well-publicised love life, however, Kevin joked that dating is never easy--for anyone!
There were a few celebrity parents with kids in tow, like Jenny McCarthy, and Melissa Joan Hart who said she was there because of her sister's children. Hart said the Jonas brothers were cute, they had good music, and a lot of style.
The quartet of giggling girls she brought along were quick to agree and giddily said that Nick was their favourite in the trio of teenage heartthrobs. Also along for the party was The Ghost Whisperer's, Camryn Manheim, who brought her 2 children.
She was visibly excited when she saw the group for the first time and exclaimed that they were so cute!
Inside The Roxy, party-goers were treated to a special performance of the Jonas Brother's latest singles.

The documentary features interviews with rock and roll legends, Ozzy Osbourne, Slash, Gene Simmons, Lita Ford, and the late Lemmy Kilmister. The documentary will be available on demand October 29th.
The Rainbow explores the vast history of Hollywood’s famed Rainbow Bar & Grill and Whisky A Go-Go on the Sunset Strip. Both iconic venues were founded by the late Mario Maglieri. The Rainbow, which opened in 1972, is filled with rich rock and roll history. Mario’s Italian heritage inspired the delicious food that is served there, especially the pizza, which is known as the best in the city.
Truly a lover of music and the arts, Mario helped hundreds of artists get their start in Los Angeles. Known as the King of the Sunset Strip, hopefuls from all over the world came to the The Rainbow with the desire of being discovered. He frequently came across talented musicians who went on to become platinum sellers. Their pictures line the walls of The Rainbow.
The documentary gives viewers an inside look at the Maglieri family who has owned the venue and dedicated their lives to preserving rock history.
“Telling the story of The Rainbow Bar & Grill, The Whisky A Go Go and the Maglieri family in this film has been a great honor and one that truly represents the history of rock n’ roll in America.” says producer Matthew Perniciaro of Bow and Arrow Entertainment. Perniciaro and Michael Sherman of Bow and Arrow produced the film, with Todd Singerman, Erik Kritzer of Link Entertainment, Mikeal Maglieri and Mike Maglieri Jr. serving as executive producers.
“We are excited to release The Rainbow documentary as it is a true testament to rock and roll history. The iconic Rainbow Bar and Grill has been the home to many legends over the years and this is a must-see documentary for any music and sunset strip lover,” said Nolan Gallagher, Founder and CEO of Gravitas Ventures.
Gallagher negotiated the deal with Matt Perniciaro of Bow & Arrow Entertainment.

Chocolate lyrics:
Hey now call it a split 'cause you know that you will
Oh you bite your friend like chocolate
You say, we'll go where nobody knows
With guns hidden under our petticoats
No we're never gonna quit it, no we're never gonna quit it, no
Now we run run away from the boys in the blue
And my car smells like chocolate
Hey now think about what you do, think about what they say
Think about how to think
Pause it play it, pause it play it, pause it
Oh we go where nobody knows, with guns hidden under our petticoats
No we're never gonna' quit it, no we're never gonna' quit it no
Yeah we're dressed in black from head to toe
We've got guns hidden under our petticoats
No we're never gonna' quit it no we're never gonna' quit it no
Now you're never gonna quit it
Now you're never gonna quit it
Now you're never gonna quit it
If you don't stop smoking it
That's what she said
She said we're dressed in black, head to toe
With guns hidden under our petticoats
No we're never gonna quit it, no we're never gonna quit it, no
Hey now we're building up speed as we're approaching the hill
Oh my hair smells like chocolate
Hey now you say you're gonna quit it but you're never gonna quit it
Go get it, go get it, go get it, go
And play it cool
Oh and you said we go where nobody knows
With guns hidden under our petticoats
No we're never gonna' quit it, no we're never gonna' quit it no
Yeah we're dressed in black, from head to toe
We've got guns hidden under our petticoats
We're never gonna' quit it, no we're never gonna' quit it no
Well I think we better go, seriously better go
Said it's better than hanging on
Seriously better go, oh oh
Well I think we better go
Said it's better than hanging on
Said Rebecca better know
Seriously better go
We go where nobody knows, with guns hidden under our petticoats
No we're never gonna' quit it, no we're never gonna' quit it no
Yeah we're dressed in black, head to toe
With guns hidden under our petticoats
No we're never gonna quit it
No we're never gonna quit it, no
Well I think we better go, seriously better go
Said the feds are here you know
Seriously better go
Oh oh, well I think we better go
Said the feds are here you know
Said Rebecca better know
Seriously better go
