Highgrove House
Highgrove House is the family residence of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, situated south west of Tetbury in Gloucestershire, England. Built in the late 18th century, Highgrove and its estate was owned by various families until it was purchased in 1980 by the Duchy of Cornwall from Maurice Macmillan. Charles remodelled the Georgian house with neo-classical additions in 1987. The duchy manages the estate and the nearby Duchy Home Farm. The house is noted for its extensive gardens which receive more than 30,000 visitors a year. The house and gardens are run according to Charles' environmental principles, and have been the subject of several books and television programmes. Charles frequently hosts various charitable events at the house.

It is now more than thirty years since the Duchy of Cornwall bought Highgrove in Gloucestershire and HRH The Prince of Wales made the Estate his home.
Today, after the hard work of scores of people, the garden unfolds in a series of highly personal and inspiring tableaux, each one reflecting the Prince’s interests and enthusiasms.
Divided into old and new, the Cottage Garden comprises of two distinctive planting styles. Inspired by the vibrant colours of Tibetan silks, the New Cottage Garden has an exuberant yellow, pink and blue theme.
The Old Cottage Garden, meanwhile, is of classic English quintessence with a planting scheme designed by The Prince and the late Rosemary Verey OBE. A mixture of trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants and bulbs provide year-round colour, while the oak summer house, designed by the Prince and the late Mark Hoare, offers structural interest and reams of charm.

The Highgrove Shop!
Located in Tetbury - Gloucestershire, the Highgrove shop is a neat little outlet which sells merchandise from both the Highgrove estate itself, and from the official Buckingham Palace Royal Collection range (just a pity i could not afford one of the large watercolour prints on the wall which had been hand signed by Prince Charles). Didn't film inside though as there wasn't any other customers and i didn't wanna get kicked out.

The Farmer and his Prince TRAILER
DVD:
This film depicts a Prince, who has the vision to feed the world with organic agriculture and heal damaged nature. Alongside his charismatic farm manager David Wilson, he has been pursuing this goal for 30 years. Through poetically impressive images, this unique collaboration portrays how organic agriculture works, and the benefits that emanate from it. Bertram Verhaag observed these two visionaries over the course of five years - through all four seasons.
The Prince of Wales already felt strongly about the concept of organic and sustainable farming long before the word “sustainability” was on everyone’s lips. More than 30 years ago, he realised that other farmers could only be swayed to cultivate their land without poisons and in harmony with nature, if they were presented with a practical example. This example turned into an exceptional success and now, farmers from all over the United Kingdom travel to the Duchy Home Farm, to gather the courage and knowledge they need, to convert to organic themselves. Prince Charles appears in an entirely unusual light, which forces the viewer to throw all prejudices towards him and organic agriculture overboard.
