2013 Australian Open Golf | Full Final Day Telecast | Royal Sydney GC | Winner: Rory McIlroy
Between stints as world No.1, Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland made a birdie at the final hole to stop Adam Scott from completing the Triple Crown in 2013, after the Queenslander led the Open from the opening day following his other Aussie wins. Scott had torn Royal Sydney apart with a course record 62 in the opening round, led by four through three rounds, and he was still in front by a shot when the players reached the final tee. With the biggest crowds in years congregating around the 18th green, Scott, missed the green and took a bogey while McIlroy calmly stroked in his birdie putt from just 4m to win.

Round 1 Highlights - Emirates Australian Open
With the Australian PGA and Masters titles already firmly in his grip, what could Adam Scott possibly do at the Emirates Australian Open today to one-up himself?
Shoot a course record of course!
And that's just want the Queenslander did to the delight on thousands of eager golf fans on course for Round 1 of the Emirates Australian Open at Royal Sydney Golf Club.
Teeing off the back nine at 7.10am this morning, Scott stunned everyone with a blistering start to his Triple Crown campaign.
Shooting six consecutive birdies over the first six holes of his day, Scott was cruising early and looked certain to claim the course record which stood at 65 from the 2008 Australian Open.
Despite parring the first five holes on his back nine, Scott finished as he started and gave fans a further four birdies over the closing holes to sign for a new course record of 10-under 62.

2016 Australian Open Golf | Final Day Telecast | Royal Sydney Golf Club | Winner: Jordan Spieth
At Royal Sydney in 2016, in his third consecutive trip Down Under, Jordan Spieth climbed back to the top rung after another dramatic final round at Royal Sydney. As multiple challengers rose and fell throughout the fourth round, Spieth joined Victorian Ash Hall and young Queenslander Cam Smith in a playoff. And while all three withstood the pressure of the cauldron of the club's famous closing ampitheatre to find the green in regulation, it was Spieth's famous putting stroke that came to the fore, ramming home a birdie for his second Australian crown.
