Arrowtown: Sawpit Gully & German Hill Autumn Hike
New Zealand April 2019.
After a walk around Arrowtown taking photos ???? of the autumn leaves ???? I decided to hike ???? up to Sawpit Gully exploring some empty valleys off trail before ascending German Hill ⛰ for an amazing view ???????? over arrowtown and Lake Hayes. As I started my descent through colourful autumn ???? forest the rain ???? began.
Queenstown Arrowtown - Arrow River Trail
Weather being not favorable, we chose to walk the 5km Arrow River Trail. Cycling not recommended for this trail - steep mountain slopes and narrow pathways. The other Arrowtown Trails are:: Bush Creek Trail - 4km; Sawpit Gully Trail - 12km; Hayes Creek Trails - 1 and 2 hours ; Millennium Walkway - 5km and Macetown 4WD Road - 6 hours return.

Lower Wye Creek Track -- Queenstown, New Zealand -- [TREKSNAPS]
Lower Wye Creek Track can be reached with a 20 minute drive from downtown Queenstown, New Zealand at the back of the Remarkables and offers stunning views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. The track can be especially difficult when wet so bring good shoes and prepare for any type of weather.
*Side note: The walk on the pipeline and dam is not technically considered part of the Lower Wye Creek Track but it is amazing and everyone should do it while they are there which is why I included footage in the video.

Each year for one weekend only the pristine trails of the Motatapu welcomes thousands of all-comers to experience one of New Zealand’s favourite off-road sporting events.
In 2018 we were fortunate enough to explore this beautiful high-country landscape and meet some incredible people along the way.
Here, Hamish Mackay one of the prior land owners of Motatapu Station, along with founder of the Motatapu off-road event Tom Pryde, tell the history and a story of this land that many don't know.
NZ Arrowtown in Autumn 紐西蘭箭鎮的秋天
Arrowtown is a historic gold mining town in the Otago region of the South Island of New Zealand. It is located on the banks of the Arrow River approximately 22 km from the famous tourism town Queenstown. Arrowtown is the most beautiful town in New Zealand when the leaves along streets and on the hills turn to yellow and red in autumn. There are many well preserved buildings used by European and Chinese immigrants dating from the gold mining days of the town. Chinese Settlement is a on-site museum at the outlet of Bush Creek.
