aaj mai aaplogo Ko science centre ke bare me bata raha hu
science centre of Siliguri is one of the best place to visit for all.
it's take 20mint to reach from Siliguri junction and 30mint from Bagdogra airport.
it's full of green and can gain much knowledge of science and technology.
u can see green park here and can enjoy the planetarium and 3d show.
there are so many science project.
and also can see the forest view and habitant of different animals.
u can also see the different culture of different communities.
entree fee-20/- only
open at 10.30a.m.
closes at 6.30 pm.

The city is located on the banks of the Mahananda River and the foothills of the Himalayas. Siliguri is a city in the northeast Indian state of West Bengal. It sits in the foothills of the Himalayas, surrounded by tea gardens. It’s home to the North Bengal Science Centre, with its digital planetarium and model T. rex. To the east is leafy Surya Sen Park, named after an independence activist, and the huge, white-domed ISKCON Temple. Farther north, the Salugara Monastery is a colorful Buddhist shrine.

North Bengal Wild Animals Park (Bengal Safari) in Siliguri provides a rewarding experience about the wildlife of the region to the visitors.
The State of West Bengal with a variety of forest types is very rich in terms of Wildlife. North Bengal flood plains harbor wild animals like Tiger, Common Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, Himalayan Black Bear, Sloth Bear, Gaur, Sambar, Barking Deer, Spotted Deer, Hog Deer, Wild Boar, Rhesus Monkey, Common Languor, different types of small Cats and Civets, Crocodile, Gharail , Jungle Fowls and a large number of terrestrial and water Birds.
Siliguri is second most populous city after Kolkata in West Bengal and is situated at the entrance of North Bengal (10km from Park). People travelling to Darjeeling hills, Sikkim, North East India, Bhutan and Eastern Nepal have to touch through Siliguri. It is well connected with all these along with Kolkata and New Delhi by Rail, Road and Air.
North Bengal Wild Animals Park, Siliguri has established to showcase the faunal diversity of the North Bengal flood plains to the local people and visitors to the region. The Safari Park has been planned keeping in view the standard and norms formulated by the Central Zoo Authority for its development and maintenance. The Park have good collection of Medicinal Plants.
North Bengal Wild Animals Park, Siliguri is spread in an area of 297 hectares. The Park is developed in its natural habitat of Sal & its associated species. The Park shall be having 4 nos. large safaris i.e. Mixed Herbivore Safari (91 ha), Tiger Safari (20 ha). The visitors shall be taken to these safaris in specially designed vehicles.
The lesser cats, fresh water crocodile, gharial and representatives birds of North Bengal shall be displayed in appropriately designed large enclosures.
Hon’ble Chief Minister, West Bengal laid the foundation stone of the North Bengal Wild Animals Park, Siliguri on 17th July, 2014. Section of the Park with Mixed Herbivore Safari, Red Jungle Fowl enclosure and jungle Cat enclosure is ready for opening to the public. Hon’ble Chief Minister, West Bengal dedicated the North Bengal Wild Animals Park, Siliguri to the nation in January 2016.
