Port St Johns is a town with a population of about 6 500 people on the Wild Coast of the Eastern Cape. It is situated at the mouth of the Mighty Umzimvubu River, 300 km northeast of East London and 100 km from Mthatha. Boasting some of the most beautiful nature scenery in the country. The Mighty Umzimvubu River flowing through an impressive gorge known as the “Gates of St Johns” into an estuary located on the Indian Ocean. On both sides of the river ravine are high sandstone mountain peaks.
Mount Thesiger (342m above sea level) and Mount Sullivan (304m above sea level). Nestled on the banks of this river lies one of the Jewels of the Wild Coast the magnificent Cremorne Estate, which offers 4 distinctly different accommodation options. For a little bit of Wild Coast hospitality, it offers bed and breakfast in their cosy timber cabins with en-suite facilities. For the “Do it yourself” holiday maker they offer fully equipped and serviced luxury self-catering cottages.
For the outdoor type the caravan and camping sites are fully serviced with water and electricity. For the avid fisherman it offers the Fisherman’s cottages.
Port St Johns is known as the centre of tourism on the Wild Coast. It is famous for deep sea fishing and rock and surf angling. Near the town are three beaches.
From Mthatha in the west and Flagstaff in the north the R61 Road, currently being upgraded to form part of the Wild Coast Road linking Durban and East London, connects to Port St Johns. A smaller road leads the last 5km into town. Port St Johns has an airstrip on top of Mount Thesiger. The Pondoland Park is a national park and forested area 500km² in size, including the Umzimvubu River Mouth and stretching north along the coast up to the provincial border with Kwazulu Natal.
The annual “Sardine run” attracts divers, photographers and oceanographers from all over the world. Cremorne also hosts the annual “Grunter Classic” which attracts anglers from all over South Africa.
The Estate is fully licensed and features include a cosy Pub, a la carte restaurant and pizza oven producing deliciously famous pizzas.
All in all the Cremorne Estate is a paradise within a paradise where you kick off your shoes and connect with nature and the ocean.

Canopy Tour Mpumalanga
Hannah and Andrew took a canopy ride through the Mpumalanga bush. Three words to describe it? Fun, fun, fun.
Andrew:We experienced the thrill of it at the Hazyview Skyway trails set in Mpumalanga, along one of the last remaining naturally forested valleys along the Sabie River.
As beautiful as the valley was, the best part for us was the action. The slides zigzag above, below and through the forest canopy. Here's how it works: you glide along a zip line, between platforms perched in trees and cliff faces. There's no way we could fall because our guide strapped us into a full body safety harness. We couldn't wait to tell our friends back home about this amazing adventure of flying through the forest.

A look at the Echo Caves
Situated just outside Ohrigstad are the Echo Caves. The Caves are some of the oldest in the world and were declared a Historical Monument. These mysterious caves were discovered in the 1920's by an owner of the farm. The Echo Caves are the least well known of the limestone caves. Therefore, the advantage is that fewer people visit them and you may be lucky enough to enjoy this amazing underworld insert. Let's take a look.

Graskop Mpumalanga South Africa, Court Gibson Playing Guitar
Hello there, This video was made years ago and has in fact changed entirely but not to worry because i will eventually put up all my new material... you may just have to wait a little... I need to buy a pair of shoes, a new guitar input, a new double bass pedal, and possibly an ice cream or something, ye know, just for the heart, before I can actually afford to put up something decent... So for now, this is what I got.
This is a song i made for all the good things i see in Graskop...
i actually created it when i was living in JHB.
i was so home sick and trapped in the concrete jungle. so i came back home and made this video.
Its just a phone recording so the sound quality is not great, however if you are in Graskop,Mpumalnga South Africa drop by at Canimambo Portugues Restaurant and I will play this song live just for you!
