Mystic Aquarium, lobster rolls and Hammonasset Beach day trip vlog.
Hey YouTube universe! My name is Steph. I love travel videos. This is my first video and I wanted to take you along on a day trip my boyfriend Jeff and I took on my birthday this year. We drove to Mystic, Connecticut where we visited Mystic Aquarium. It was really cool to learn about how they provide a lot of marine animal education and conservation. The penguins were my favorite, they are just so darn cute. We then got Bubble Tea in Olde Mystick Village at Alice in the Village, a tearoom and gift shop. I wish I had filmed more of window shopping in the Village, but really I had tunnel vision on that tea and spaced out. Squirrel! There is so much to see in the Village and it is right next to the aquarium, so fun. We ate at Captain Scott’s Lobster Dock in New London, CT. We keep an eye out on Ct’s best Lobster Rolls Lists and this place lived up to the hype. Finally we dipped our toes in the ocean at Hammonasset Beach. I want to continue filming our fun trips around New England, I have a few ideas for the end of summer and fall. Comment down below if you love to travel even if it is for just a day trip. Let me know in the comments down below if you are from New England and where you love to spend your time. I’m going to try to make this a weekly vlog and see how it goes! Thank you for watching!
I love movies, tv shows, Disney, vines and prank videos, I linked the ones I referenced down below.

Run the Gauntlet 2013
Denali and Trailblazer's Run the Gauntlet is becoming one of Connecticut shoreline's favorite annual running events, and the 5k race's 2013 run was it's second time being held. With the popularity of local running events on the rise, Trailblazer and Denali have teamed up with sponsors such as The North Face, and New Balance Shoes along with other local sponsors to create one of the best 5K races in CT. This 5K run benefits the non-profit organization Shoreline Greenway Trail. The funds from Trailblazer's 5K Run the Gauntlet will go towards building a trail along Connecticut's shore line, spanning from Hammonasset Beach State Park all the way to Lighthouse Point in New Haven. The trail will be an off road rout that cuts through the towns of Madison, Guilford, Branford and New Haven. The 5K race's 2013 event had 3 heats and numerous obstacles that involved jumping walls, tire runs, a hay bail pyramid, and a The North Face sponsored Trek to Basecamp feature inspired by a Himalayan accent. This 5K race was a day of tough running, jumping and climbing, with the reward of beer and pizza at the finish.
