Gang of 13 By the Historical mural in Speightstown
Russian or part of a dance troupe, be it music one need not be German or Italian to appreciate music, be it food one neeed not be French. All seem to converge and appreciate beauty.
Speightstown ( AKA Little Bristol 1630 ) is the former capital of this nation and it has now long been forgotten, everyone simply sits and awaits, or talk about....... ( fill in the blanks yourself )
It's really not about me, but about this forgotten place. The former capital of this country.
Forgotten so long ago, before my time it is said that there were so many people walking about. Now it is a different story In a town that you could barely move in. I have witnessed and experienced it's demise
(Hate that word) and everyone sits there and talks or are too busy.
All is left up to others Errol Barrow said in a speach: You can sit there or help put another man on the moon
That is what I am doing. This is but the beginning
Many supporting fans have energized the vision.
Stay tuned
I am like in Errol's speach
Other join me and we can add an S
Let us become others
Proof is in the pudding, so come and make some
Enjoy the slides & come to be part of the unfolding future

Speightstown St Peter Barbados
Speightstown also known as Little Bristol is the 2nd largest town centre of Barbados. It is situated 12 miles (19km) north of the capital city Bridgetown , in the northern parish of St.Peter. The town is named after William Speight , a member of Barbados' first Assembly during the settlement years & the former owner of the land where the town is located. Speightstown was formally settled around 1630 & in the earliest days of settlement was Barbados' busiest port ( AMS Seaport Code 27213, UN/LOCODE : BB SPT) . Ships laden with sugar & other commodities left Speightstown bound for London especially Bristol . For this reason Speightstown is sometimes known as Little Bristol . The quaint little town has now become the centre of a tourist area as well as a secondary shopping centre.

Paula Jane's Fit Food Tour
Far too frequently I hear people say that they can't go out for a meal and have fun because they are on a diet. I want to show you that both are possible - you can maintain a diet and still dine out. Actually, I am happy to show you how.
This experiential event walks you through the quaint parish of St. Peter starting and ending in Little Bristol - there's just something about being in nature, food and quaint little towns.
The Fit Food Tour winds uphill through the cool and ever green Whim Gully before we take our first pit stop for fresh all natural coconut water, at a local coconut stand, catch our breath and rest our legs.
Continuing South for a few feet and then down to Nature's Produce - Barbados' premier organic farm to get an education and see how real, whole foods are grown.
There's so much to see and of course it depends on what’s in season but a variety of greens; the most comprehensive herb garden on the island; free range eggs and tilapia are some of the many edibles which can be found here.
We then head West and downhill on the home stretch for the most healthy and filling breakfast at L'attitude with the pristine waters of the Caribbean ocean and the Caribbean's largest mural as lovely backdrops - picture perfect. What more could you ask for?
Enjoy a whole foods breakfast; freshly squeezed juice and Fit Table Talk.
Afterwards, you have the option of getting a little pampering from one of the island's best massage therapists. Of course L'attitude will put out their beach chairs and umbrellas for your comfort (included in your Fit Food Tour) they've outdone themselves and added a little something extra by offering a 10% discount if you linger on for lunch. Don't forget to pack your bikini or board shorts if you want to take full advantage and make a day of it.
I recommend you take a stroll on the boardwalk, rediscover Speightstown, purchase fruit and veggies from the street vendors and enjoy the authenticity of Barbados' most northerly town - still pretty much untouched and a true gem.
If this sounds like an event you and your friends will love, please save the date; purchase your tickets to secure your spot. We are sure to be sold out. Join us now!
