Skybrokers de-installed a 9m Earth Station Antenna in the UK

Skybrokers (sky-brokers.com) was contracted to remove a VertexRSI 9.0m earth station antenna in Guildford, UK in March 2017. We took the antenna down in one week and moved it with a dedicated truck to our facility in Central Europe for refurbishment.

We provide new and used satellite equipment for Teleports, Satellite Providers, Telecom Operators, Broadcasters and SNG Operators etc. We can provide de- and re-installation services as well as maintenance, repair/refurbishment and relocations of your earth station antennas where ever you are located.

Queen’s keyboardist and musical director, Spike Edney and his All-Star Band return to G Live for their highly anticipated 25th Anniversary special! The evening will be filled with iconic music, featuring a line-up of some of Spike’s rock-star and musician friends, performing their biggest hits from across the decades.

All-Star line-up will be announced soon, with previous line-ups including: Roger Daltrey, Roger Taylor, Brian May, Bruce Dickinson, Alexandra Burke, Paloma Faith, Alicia Keys, Roy Wood, Chaka Khan, Lionel Richie, Anastascia, Paul Young, Mark King, Jocelyn Brown, Patti Russo, Midge Ure, Leo Sayer, Toyah Willcox and Fish, to name a few.

Spike Edney is one of the most respected and versatile session musicians and musical directors in the business. In addition to being legendary rock band Queen’s musical director and keyboard player since 1984, this British multi-instrumentalist has toured, recorded and performed with the living and late legends of our time for over 40 years. It is from this extensive network of musician friends, he will call upon to put together this highly anticipated show.

Since their debut in 1994, The SAS Band have made various television appearances and performed at an array of international high profile public concerts, major corporate events and exclusive private parties, around the world. Phil Collins, Queen, Rod Stewart, Bob Geldof and The Rolling Stones are a few members of the rockistocracy who have requested Spike to put something memorable together for their very special occasion. Public performances include The Prince’s Trust “Party in the Park” and the Mandela 46664 concerts in Cape Town, Hyde Park, London and Radio City Music Hall, NY.

This is a night for music lovers and will feature special guest appearances not to be missed! It’s advised to book early, as SAS Band tickets are always in high demand!
