A Delightful Shepherd's Hut Situated In The Owner’s Grounds In Stunning

This delightful shepherd’s hut is situated in the owner’s grounds in stunning countryside near to the village of Summerbridge. This tranquil setting is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic break away. As you approach the hut you will immediately feel relaxed as you take in the fantastic views. Three steps lead up into the hut and into a small porch area where you can hang up your coats and kick off your boots. The sociable open plan living area has a compact but well-equipped kitchen where you can rustle up delicious meals to be enjoyed at the breakfast bar. Afterwards cosy up together on the comfy sofa and admire the countryside views or relax whilst you watch your favourite TV programmes. With a warming woodburning stove, together with underfloor heating you will be warm and comfortable whenever you choose to stay. The bedroom is well-appointed with a double bed and storage areas and there is a modern shower room. Outside you can relax on the sunny patio area dining alfresco or unwind in the glorious hot tub as you soak up those views. If you can tear yourselves away there are lovely walks along the nearby River Nidd where you can enjoy bird watching and fishing. Afterwards stop off in the village of Summerbridge and enjoy a refreshing drink or meal in one of the fantastic local establishments. The town of Harrogate offers an enjoyable day out with its famous Bettys tea rooms overlooking Montpellier Gardens, antique shops, quaint pubs, tempting restaurants and theatre. Alternatively head to the city of Ripon and visit its impressive cathedral. After a busy day out return to this cosy retreat to relax in the wonderful surroundings.

We Love Ripon

Hunters present #weloveripon, a collaborative video created alongside other small businesses that support the city of Ripon. Ripon is a small cathedral city in North Yorkshire, England. Located near Harrogate, the city is over 1,300 years old and is the third smallest city in England by population. Ripon is a well known tourist destination and is well positioned in North Yorkshire for exploring but for centuries, the city has been a popular residential area with plenty of work and schooling opportunities. In recent years the city has become a thriving independent hub for small local businesses
We worked with some fantastic and energetic local businesses to produce this video. Oliver’s Pantry is one of the most iconic cafes in the city offering a fantastic range of homemade produce served with a smile. Memorable Moments have been in the city for a few years now offering a lovely range of gifts and cards for those special moments. The Little Book shop is not little in knowledge and offer a whole host of different types of literature and if they haven’t got it, they will get it for you.
A beautiful iconic building set just off the town square, is the Workhouse museum, which offers a real life feel for the days gone by and reveals the real history of what it was like, for the not so fortunate back in the 1800s. With a classroom, a working kitchen demonstrating traditional methods of cooking which accompanies the well-tended rear kitchen garden, with traditional planting which would have been tended by the inmates at the time.
The Ripon Racecourse known as “Yorkshires Garden race course” because of its pleasant surroundings, is located just on the edge of Ripon and is well recognised as a very popular meet for local Yorkshire based owners and families.
Ripon is surrounded by beautiful open countryside and the Yorkshire dales are on your doorstep, this thriving city offers everything that both the young and old residents would enjoy.
There are independent retailers offering unusual and unique shopping with quaint traditional public houses, cosy independent restaurant’s offering all kinds of international cuisine for every palette, lively bars, a cinema, swimming pool, leisure centre and of course Ripon City Cathedral. Every Thursday Ripon is home to a very popular and diverse market with every kind of stall possible, from your local veg stall to your new handbag.

Guildford Road consultation fly-through film

Woking Borough Council is working in partnership with Surrey County Council to consult on proposals to change the road layout south of Victoria Arch in Woking Town Centre.

The existing one-way gyratory system around Guildford Road, Victoria Road and the A320 Station Approach creates a pinch-point for traffic heading to and from the town centre and station, with queues often stretching back along Guildford Road.

We are proposing to replace the one-way gyratory system with a two-way road for vehicles along Guildford Road and Victoria Road. The proposal aims to relieve congestion around the town centre, whilst making journey times quicker and more reliable.

The proposal also includes the introduction of safer, more convenient walking and cycling routes between the town centre, residential areas and other important local places of interest.

The proposed changes could also help to unlock potential future development sites in the immediate area.

The consultation begins on Wednesday 12 September and closes Wednesday 24 October.
