A walk through Stavanger
Stavanger is a city and Norway’s fourth largest municipality and is located in the province of Rogaland. The city is located on the Stavanger Peninsula in Southwest Norway. The city’s official founding year was in the year of 1125 which was also the year where the Stavanger cathedral was completed. Although Stavanger was founded in 1125 the population remained low for a long time. It was not until the 18th century that the city steadily began to grow. First of all because of its fishing industry, but later its shipping industry also made it more important. At one point Stavanger had more than 50 factories as well that produced canned goods. Stavanger remained an industrial city until the 50s of the 20th century. When oil was discovered here in the 60s Stavanger changed into a modern city where 200,000 inhabitants now live. The earlier mentioned cathedral in Stavanger lies in the core of the city. The cathedral is one of the last buildings in this area from the Middle Ages which has contained its original style throughout time. You should also visit the old part of Stavanger to the east of the harbour which is very historic. In Stavanger you will mainly find wooden houses in great shape. With a NOVASOL holiday home here you will be able to explore everything Stavanger has to offer from an ideal starting point. The old harbour ‘Vågen’ is very deep so that even the largest ships can go to shore and load their goods off so they can be sold on the market. Cruise ships also arrive here often with many passengers who wish to experience this beautiful Norwegian city. The largest ferries usually arrive in the newly built harbour ‘Risavika’ which lies a few kilometres from Stavanger in the village called ‘Tananger’. If you book a holiday cottage from NOVASOL here in Norway you can choose whether you wish to fly, drive or sail to your destination. A cultural highlight is the annual Jazz Festival held in May. There is also a chamber music festival in August each year. You could also visit the Norwegian Oil Museum and learn about the rich history Stavanger has regarding oil extraction. Book your NOVASOL holiday home in Stavanger today and experience everything this modern city influenced by the oil industry has to offer. Novasol website:

Travelling Oslo Fjord - Southern Norway. Sandvika, Oslo, Kristiansand and Tjøme
Click the link below to visit Census Film's website:
Why not take a trip to Southern Norway? Many people already know about the lovely nature of the Northern and the Western parts of Norway. We think that the Southern parts are underestimated, as there are many hidden treasures here.
The video starts up at Konglungen in Asker, then moves forward to the city Sandvika in Bærum, where the oldest scheduled wooden ferry Rigmor takes its journeys to many islands in the Oslo Fjord. Watch the sea life with all the boats and other ferries in the Oslo Fjord, watch Oslo City hall, Akershus Fortress and Oslo Opera House from the sea side. Also, take a trip to the Fram Polar Ship Museum lying just beside the Norwegian Maritime Museum, go on board on the Fram Polar Ship, and also feel the essence of life underneath the ice level in the North Pole!
The large cruise boats from Color Line are sailing from Kiel to Oslo and vice versa. Also, other large cruiseships are sailing here. There are other car ferries are sailing to Oslo too, like Stena Line from Frederikshavn, and DFDS from Copenhagen. Expect a lovely view from the sundeck on these ships, and enjoy the views of e.g. Oscarsborg Fortress, Drøbak city, and a lot of the islands and peninsulas in the Oslo Fjord.
The video also shows the very southern parts of Norway, like Søgne outside Kristiansand. The lovely marina at Trysnes offers fishing and nice sea life for their visitors. We filmed under water with our GoPro camera, and you can look at crabs, jellyfish and some of other sea creatures as well.
Then finally the video takes you to the island Tjøme, and The End of Earth (Verdens Ende), where you may look at the very special archipelaog of smooth rocks. In 2012, the famous photographers Peter Farago and Ingela Klemetz-Farago in collaboration with Chanel had their outdoor exhibition Northern Women in Chanel. Read more about the exhibition here: (Norwegian) and here: (English)
The video is produced on private interest for local tourist destination marketing, so we had no contract before making it.
When we make videos with contracts, we make sure we have a good plan and manuscript, based on what the customers want. We will also make sure that people who are participating in the videos look their best, and that the result will be good.
So why not go to Norway in your next vacation? Southern Norway has a lot to offer. Sea life, multiple beaches, fishing and diving amongst others. Experience the wonderful archipelagos along the coastline, or stay in the cities for sightseeing, dining and shopping.

Road to Preikestolen Pulpit Rock the Lysefjord Stavanger Norway الطريق إلى الصخرة المربعة في النرويج
Road to Preikestolen the Lysefjord Stavanger Norway
Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock) is one of the most visited attractions in Norway, and one of the most photographed sites
The 3.8 kilometer well maintained trail to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) offers one of the most popular hikes in Norway. It's two hours each way (90 minutes for experienced hikers). The view from the rock on the Lysefjord below makes the trip very rewarding. But if you have fear of heights, this may not be for you. There are no safety rails on the Preikestolen.
The scenic trail starts at a parking lot and bus stop (at alt. 270 meters) and climbs to 604 meters. There are a few steep sections with large boulders but most of the trail is a rather easy climb. You can't go wrong, red T's show you the way. On sunny Summer days the 25 meter squared plateau of the rock gets rather crowded so it may be a good idea to make an early start.
Preikestolen can be reached from Stavanger by ferry (to Tau) and bus (to the trailhead). The parking lot (not free) has spaces for cars, campers and large RV's. There's a campground (Preikestolen Camping) about 5 kilometers from the parking lot.
For the ultimate Preikestolen experience, combine a hike with a cruise along the Lysefjord to see this natural wonder from every possible angle. Boats leave Stavanger regularly during the summer season, which is the best time to ensure a clear sighting of Norway's famous landmark.

Hidden Beauty of Senja - Hiking over the Clouds on Segla & Breidtinden | Cinematic Northern Norway
If I would describe our trip, Senja is for me the most beautiful region in Northern Norway.
We've continued our trip in Northern Norway, coming from Lofoten to the northern area called Senja and took aerial cinematography to the next level, especially it was my first time being over the clouds, such a great experience!
We´ve first tried to hike Hesten, but it was so foggy, you could only see 5 meters far...
We´ve experienced the most stunning mountain landscapes, as a landscape photographer you can do literally a 360 no scope instagram banger.
We have been in Senja to see Breidtinden, Segla, Hesten and Husfjellet.

Destination Norway
Norway offers amazing views and experiences all year long. The south with all the inlets, small and big rivers crossing the landscape or the polar lights in the north; you will not find these anywhere else. These unique contrasts of the landscape are astonishing over and over again. In the south of Norway there are many different villages, both smaller and bigger ones, which are good to visit for fishing, but also good for the beauty of the landscape itself. The roads along the coast of the inlets are exciting on top of the fact that you can see snow covered mountains and glaciers which create an astonishing contrast and a beautiful view. Next to the water the plants and trees are blooming while on top of the mountains there are thousands of years old glaciers. Another amazing thing is that the crystal clear water that reflects the beautiful landscape in a way that cannot be seen elsewhere. Norway is a paradise for people who like fishing and you will enjoy it a lot. In Norway it is possible to put your boat out on the water almost everywhere. You can also rent a boat. It is possible to catch fish taller than one meter or heavier than 10 kilograms. You can catch many fish that make a fisherman´s heart happy and satisfied. NOVASOL has holiday cottages in Norway that are located conveniently so that you can get to experience everything this country has to offer. The culture of Norway is impressive and interesting as well, so if you visit one of the numerous museums you can learn a lot about the sailing nation Norway is and its history: Starting with the single boats of the first inhabitants up to the Viking nation’s tradition and technologies as well as many other things. Also the old and traditionally built churches called “Stave Church” are worth to be visited. Cities like Stavanger in the south west, Bergen in the west and Trondheim in the middle grant a special flair and serve very fresh and tasty fish. Some of the fish are caught the same day as they are served. Furthermore Bergen has a famous fish market and “Den Nationale Scene”, Norway´s oldest theater, and several cable trains which bring you upwards to several viewing spots. Standing there you can enjoy this impressive city and the wonderful harbor district with its small and colorful houses. Another very famous attraction is the “Geirangerfjord” with its waterfalls, called “The Seven Sisters”, and the Søgnefjord, which is the longest and deepest inlet in the world. These two and other inlets amaze visitors from all over the world. Ice and snow covered mountains, green meadows, crystal clear water and beautiful landscapes; you will never see enough too much of Norway. Book your NOVASOL holiday cottage in Norway today. Vlog #01: Scandinavian Voyage
This vlog features my Scandinavian Voyage trip last April 2018 together with the whole crew of Eurotrip Adventures. We spent half-full day each in Denmark (Copenhagen), Malmo (Sweden), and Stavanger (Pulpit Rock/ Preikestolen-Norway) to experience the happy life in the Nordic region. This video features a lot of different faces of the friends I've gained in this 4 day trip. It was definitely an awesome trip because of the challenging yet fun experience ( 6 hr hike to Prekestolen!) and of course, the fun people.

History - construction & ownership
Pullmantur Cruises S.L. is a Spanish cruise line headquartered in Madrid. It started operations in the late 1990s as an offshoot of Madrid-based namesake travel agency Pullmantur. Through its parent company, Pullmantur Cruises was purchased in 2006 by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Pullmantur offers high-quality, high-value cruising with a strong Spanish-Mediterranean flair. Company's hold on the Spanish cruise market started when the founded in 1971 Madrid travel agency Pullmantur, chartered ms Seawind Crown (Premier Cruises) in the late 1990's.
The 73,937-ton, 2,390-passenger cruise ship Pullmantur Monarch is the second of Royal Caribbean’s three Sovereign-class ships – sister ship ms Sovereign and Majesty of the Seas. MS Monarch was built in 1991 at Chantiers de l’Atlantique (Saint-Nazaire, France). At the time of completion, with her 73,941 GT, Monarch of the Seas was one of the largest cruise ships in the world.
In 2007, ms Monarch became the first of the major cruise ships in the world captained by a woman, Karin Stahre Janson (Sweden). She was the only one until 2010. The British Sarah Breton then took charge of P&O MS Artemis. On April 1, 2013, the ms Monarch cruise ship was transferred from RCI to Pullmantur Cruises and joined her sister, MS Sovereign ship, after 22-year service for Royal Caribbean International.
Cruise itinerary program
Pullmantur Monarch itinerary program is based on Caribbean round-trip cruises from Aruba, Colombia, Curacao, Panama, Mexico and Venezuela.
Prior to being retired from RCI fleet, the Monarch ship was sailing 3 and 4-days cruises to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral, Florida. Beginning April 27, 2013, ms Monarch is sailing year-round Pullmantur cruises in the Southern Caribbean.
Cabins
Pullmantur Monarch offers a total of 1193 staterooms in 15 categories, of which 445 Inside, 63 Balcony and 63 Suites. The largest aboard Monarch are the Royal Suites (64.24 m2).
Entertainment options - Fun & Sport
MS Monarch boasts two shuffleboard courts and an outdoor basketball court. Two salt water pools, full-sized, are among the other amenities. After the 2003 refurbishment, a rock-climbing wall, a conference center, Asian-fusion restaurant, a Latin Bar, Seattle’s Best Coffee and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream were added. The spa and fitness center, as well as the kids’ area were enlarged.
In many ways the Pullmantur Monarch ship offers a nice compromise, mixing some of the signature Royal Caribbean fun facilities with the Pullmantur's more toned-down, quieter escapes. Well-supported, the ship secures a good introduction to cruising for first-timers. For more experienced travelers, MS Monarch secures an inexpensive, dependable and satisfying vacation.
