In the pub for my darts game on February 11th, 2019, I spotted famous professional snooker players, Ryan Day, Matthew Stevens, and Stephen Maguire. They were obviously there drowning their sorrows, as they had all lost their matches in the ManBetX Welsh Open snooker tournament that afternoon. Ryan Day is the one in the white shirt, playing pool and then on the fruit machine, and Matthew Stevens and Stephen Maguire are on the sofa facing the camera.

Scottish laird’s house set in a beautiful coastal
location on the fringes of the Sutherland
village of Scourie.
The lodge occupies an unrivalled setting,
on a wooded hillside, within its immaculate

which dates from the mid 1800’s, was built as
a shooting lodge for the Dukes of Sutherland
and then sold from the estate. The house was
totally renovated in the 1970’s by a Swiss
