Fresh, clean air and a feeling of exhilaration awaits you on the historic Isle of Sheppey. There you will enjoy award winning beaches, perfect to sit, relax and soak up the summer sun with the waves on a calm day lapping on the beach, children splashing around and laughing whilst they play. There is so much to do and explore all around you whether you want somewhere to walk and relax or place to eat and drink. Try something from the tasty menu at the Harps Inn, you can easily walk to it from the house, the carved ham, egg and chips is one of my favourites. Then choose from one of the delicious draft or real ales to wash it down whilst watching the live football on Sky Sports. A local Tesco's and a mixture of high street shops are available in Sheerness where you will find everything you need, from delicious meat from the butchers and veg from one of the local fruiterers. Most Tuesday and Saturdays throughout the year grab a bargain at the local market. Beer Geek - Shepherd Neame: Britain's Oldest Brewery
Beer Geek is back with the tale of my homeland's oldest brewery, Shepherd Neame. This legendary brewery has been operating out of Kent, the Garden of England and the home of British Hops for over 500 years and produce such beers as the heroic Spitfire and the lovely Bishops Finger (really!). It's a tale of exploration, innovation and, of course, inebriation!

The Mrs Don't Drink Real Ale - Part 1
So in case you didn't know, I'm a huge fan of real ale, and beer in general and I regularly drag the Mrs with me around pubs scouting for new ones to try. She is a big Cider fan, and really not keen on beer, but she does like to offer her opinion of what I'm drinking. Invariably her screwed up face and colourful descriptions of the beer that I'm about to consume completely crack me up, so I decided to start filming her reactions and descriptions, this video is a comedy compilation of some of these. Hopefully the ale enthusiasts amongst you will appreciate this...Enjoy!
