Swing Low, Sweet Chariots
It is the start of the Six Nations Rugby Tournament and to get England fans to get the game at the Millennium Stadium, it's DRS and DB Schenker to the rescue
In our first clip, taken at West Ealing station, we see 57305 leading and 57312 on the rear, we see 5Z43 from Crewe CS through to London Paddington, heading to the loop at Hanwell before heading into London Paddington
Then, after we went to do a tube station and almost missing the damn thing, we see 57305 pulling out of London Paddington working 1Z43, the 13:50 service to Cardiff Central
Then, flash forward about an hour or so and we are at Kenny O for the second of the rugby specials, this time it is out of London Victoria with the British Pullman stock and 67005 leading on the middle line with shed on the rear

George V
George V (George Frederick Ernest Albert; 3 June 1865 -- 20 January 1936) was King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India, from 6 May 1910 until his death in 1936.
George was a grandson of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and the first cousin of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. From 1877 to 1891, he served in the Royal Navy. On the death of Victoria in 1901, George's father became King Edward VII, and George was made Prince of Wales. On his father's death in 1910, he succeeded as King-Emperor of the British Empire. He was the only Emperor of India to be present at his own Delhi Durbar.

SHOUT it as it is!! Part One
A personal journey that many Englishmen will recognise. A call to arms. A speech given at the English Democrats AGM 2008
STEAM - Welsh Marches Steam - 2015
DETAILS OF TRAINS, ENGINES, LOCATIONS AND DATES ARE LISTED BELOW:
I am amazed I managed to get any footage at all for this year’s activities after the fiasco surrounding the main operator of the UK's steam trains ie the West Coast Railway Company (WCRC). What a way to run a company!!!
For those who do not know, WCRC was banned from operating any trains whatsoever around about Spring 2015. This was after a very serious safety infringement, and was essentially for gross bad management of the company which exposed their customers and everybody else's at risk
Consequently many tours were cancelled which had a financial effect on the clients served (sic) by WCRC. In fact there was a great deal of speculation at all levels as to whether or not WCRC would ever be allowed to operate again
After many months in the doghouse the authorities relented and allowed WCRC back, but, to compound matters even more they even managed to get another suspension this Autumn 2015 for a similar infraction!!! What kind of a clown runs this company?
Anyway, I'm happy
The footage taken was again bolstered by Vintage Trains GWR engines/trains operating out of Tyseley (thank heavens)
Also, without Ian Riley's Black 5's substituting for non-available engines there would be a lot more disappointment. There were a couple of trains promoted with SR power up front, but they never materialised due to engine failure/unavailability. Understandable, but very disappointing - particularly if you were a passenger especially booking to travel behind such an engine. So hurrah for the Black 5's - gutsy, reliable little engines, making a good exhaust and sound for all and not letting anyone down

- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain

SUMMARY
=======
George V (George Frederick Ernest Albert; 3 June 1865 – 20 January 1936) was King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India, from 6 May 1910 until his death in 1936.
Born during the reign of his grandmother Queen Victoria, George was third in the line of succession behind his father, the Prince of Wales, and his own elder brother, Prince Albert Victor. From 1877 to 1891, George served in the Royal Navy, until the unexpected death of his elder brother in early 1892 put him directly in line for the throne. On the death of his grandmother in 1901, George's father became King-Emperor of the British Empire as Edward VII, and George was created Prince of Wales. He became king-emperor on his father's death in 1910.
George V's reign saw the rise of socialism, communism, fascism, Irish republicanism, and the Indian independence movement, all of which radically changed the political landscape. The Parliament Act 1911 established the supremacy of the elected British House of Commons over the unelected House of Lords. As a result of the First World War (1914–1918), the empires of his first cousins Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany fell, while the British Empire expanded to its greatest effective extent. In 1917, George became the first monarch of the House of Windsor, which he renamed from the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha as a result of anti-German public sentiment. In 1924 he appointed the first Labour ministry and in 1931 the Statute of Westminster recognised the dominions of the Empire as separate, independent states within the Commonwealth of Nations. He had smoking-related health problems throughout much of his later reign and at his death was succeeded by his eldest son, Edward VIII.

Not the best day for seeing a steam tour to be honest. First of all, 47245 and 47760 arrived into Platform 1 at Newport in pouring rain and then they departed away from Newport towards Maindee Junction instead of Cardiff Pengam Sidings.
Then went to Cardiff to see the black 5's, they went through on time but instead of going passed on a through line, they passed through Platform 4 which meant the video wasn't great.
Then things start to go badly wrong. They didn't go to Cardiff Pengam Sidings because i saw the tour on a Class 170 to Nottingham just outside Newport. I then saw the black 5's at Newport, but then the camcorder run out of battery and then i caught a HST back to Bristol when the 47s are ready to depart from Newport.
A really bad day in the office for me.
