Me and my band Trip sixteen performing Now we´re here from our EP we released last year.
What's up!
It's been 2 1/2 years, but I'm back. I'm gonna try to stay longer this time.
For you who don't know, last year I've joined a band called Trip sixteen. We released an EP last year called Blood, sweat and tears. A couple of months ago (in november) we applied for the band-contest Popkorn in Helsingborg, Sweden and got accepted. In the beginning you can see that I'm struggling with turning on the snare-wires. Luckily nowbody noticed.
There were 5 bands playing that night (us included), such as Chills, Race the sunset, TUB42 and Robin Erixon. We were band number two to enter the stage. There were an audience watching us and an jury (one of them being my former drum teacher/math teacher Peter Wildoer). They mostly looked at our performance, how we were on stage, if we played tight, and so on. We managed to get to the semifinals and I, as well as all the other guys in the band, are stoked to get back on The Tivoli stage next week on thursday febuary 8th.
