Amazing - Beaghmore Stone Circles
This megalithic site was constructed about 2,000-1,200 BC. It is one of the best sites in Ireland, consisting of six paired stone circles, and one which stands on its own. It is a very haunting and beautiful site, with lots of energy and feeling. It seems to pull you in, and invite you to think and wonder about the people who devoted so much land and energy to their creation. It's an amazing place - well worth a visit.
