WEST WHALE BAY BEACH AND FORT - SOUTHAMPTON PARISH - BERMUDA

Trying GoPro Gimbal and Brunch at Fairmont Southampton | Bermuda
Brunch at Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda: Excellent service. You should try this when you're in Bermuda.
Camera used: GoPro Hero 5 with GoPro gimbal. I haven’t tried the drone with the gimbal.
Pros: Stable footage even when you’re running. You can use it with the grip for ground footage or with the drone for aerial footage.
Cons: It slants on one side. Just give it a tap and it will be leveled again. The battery of the grip is 1-2 hours. Just have a portable power bank and charge it. I haven't tried using it while connected to a power bank. I’m not saying you should use it while connected to the power bank.
Update will be provided in other videos.

SUMMARY
=======
Bermuda () is a British Overseas Territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is approximately 1,070 km (665 mi) east-southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina; 1,236 km (768 mi) south of Cape Sable Island, Nova Scotia; and 1,759 km (1,093 mi) north of Cuba. The capital city is Hamilton. Bermuda is self-governing, with its own constitution and its own government, which enacts local laws, while the United Kingdom retains responsibility for defence and foreign relations.
Bermuda's two largest economic sectors are offshore insurance and reinsurance, and tourism. Bermuda had one of the world's highest GDP per capita for most of the 20th century. The island has a subtropical climate and lies in the hurricane belt and thus is prone to related severe weather; however, it is somewhat protected by a coral reef that surrounds the island and its position at the north of the belt, which limits the direction and severity of approaching storms.

Bermuda Vacation 1939 ~ The Waterlot Tavern at Jew's Bay
A very brief (accidental?) shot from below the “Rattle and Shake” train - unknown location.
A stop at the beach – The Queen of Bermuda arriving in Hamilton Harbor, it’s a busy day at number 1 shed with lots of carriages for hire on Front Street.
Great pan of Burnaby Hill / Front Street junction from the docks.
South shore beach, probably Tuckers Town.
Some rare views of the Waterlot Tavern exterior overlooking Jew’s Bay (This was the ancestral home of the Darrell family. Built in 1670 it is now owned by the Fairmont Southampton Princess now operated as the Waterlot Inn restaurant). A shot of the house from above then an “Inland Mail” mail delivery by horse and carriage – newspapers?
Back at Waterlot Tavern on the waterside, is that Claudia Darrell (proprietor) at the table?
From the Waterlot Inn website: For three hundred years the Waterlot, located below the Fairmont Southampton on Middle Road at Jews Bay, was the ancestral home of the Darrell family. Built in 1670, its cellars were for years used by seafarers for storage of cargo from the vessels moored just offshore.
The home was traditionally passed on to the eldest son of the Darrell family, but earlier this century Miss Claudia Darrell (1869-1949), a legendary Bermudian character, broke the all-male chain when she took possession of the family home.
For years Claudia served as postmistress of Southampton East, using for her office the old carriage house. She inherited the job from her father, James Thomas Darrell who was a direct descendant of Bermuda’s first postmaster, James Perot, who issued the now famous and precious Perot stamps.
Claudia eventually converted her home into an inn redolent of an old English tavern. “Come in and make yourself comfortable” was the cheery and sincere refrain given all visitors, among them Eleanor Roosevelt, Mark Twain, James Thurber and Eugene O’Neill. Furthermore, a US President and First Lady, as well as Olympian Gold Medalists, Ryder Cup golf and America's Cup sailing champions, alongside Oscar winning Hollywood actors and various other celebrities from the sports & entertainment world were spotted at the iconic restaurant.
