Two Bays Walking Track - Mornington Peninsula
The walk was around 26km and was done over two days. Staying the night in Greens Bush.
This was scouting for a upcoming Media film that I'm making but I decided to vlog our trip. We came across some Tiger Snakes but all and all it was pretty good.

ADDITIONAL INFO:
- Cape Schanck is also the name of the suburb in which the cape lies.
- Cape Schanck overlooks Bushrangers Bay (to the left) and Bass Strait.
- The Bushrangers Bay Trail is popular with walkers and is 2-3 hours return. It is just a small section of the much greater Two Bays Trail that extends from Dromana on Port Phillip, to Cape Schanck (26 km).
- Access to the Cape Schanck Boardwalk and other walks are free.
- The lightstation (including tour) is available to visitors on most days (except Christmas Day and when there are high winds) and costs $15.00 for adults, $12.00 for children, $13.00 concession and $40 dollars for a family (2011 prices).
- The lightstation has limited accommodation available. The nearby Cape Schanck Resort also offers accommodation as well as a golf course.
- The Cape Schanck Lighthouse was Victoria's second coastal lighthouse to be built. It is made from limestone and stands 21 metres tall. Its elevation is 100 metres above sea-level and the range of the light is 26 nautical miles. The lighthouse was the first lighthouse in Australia to have stone steps, which is rare for any lighthouse to have. It still functions today, though it is now fully automated.
- The large rock formation that stands at the water's edge near the tip of the cape is called Pulpit Rock.

Two Bays 28km 2016
17th Jan 2016 held the 12th annual Two Bays Trail Run in Victoria, Australia. The race goes 28km from Dromana to Cape Schanck, or 56km from Cape Schanck to Dromana and back again.
I took a GoPro along with me and filmed the 28km run alongside members of Melbourne based running group the Crosbie Crew, showing the great scenery and challenge of the trails as well as the atmosphere brought on by the support of the crowd and volunteers.
Massive thanks to all the organisers, sponsors and volunteers for making this event possible. This is definitely one of the highlights of the running calendar.
Cape Schank Walking Trails Mornington Peninsula Victoria
Cape Schanck is a large national park with numerous walks around it spectacular cliffs and down to the bay and beaches.
There are a few main walks around Cape Schanck that really capture the essence of what this place is all about.
We did the Cape Walk down the wooden boardwalk to Devils Desk and Pulpit Rock. The beauty of these leaves you feeling like you have just walked on to the set of a Hollywood movie with its perfectly unspoilt magnificence.
There is another spectacular walk to Bushrangers Bay where you could be lucky enough to be the only people there. Take a picnic and stay and enjoy for a few hours because it is a long walk there and back.
Or on a hot day you can walk down the boardwalk to the pristine rock pools where the water is crystal clear and you feel like the first person to have ever been here.
Apart from the crashing waves, this place surrounds you with tranquility and the ultimate unspoilt beauty of nature. There are not many places left today that offer this kind of breathtaking beauty that leaves you speechless in awe of the colours and scenery surrounding you.

Bushrangers Bay Adventure // NATURE WALK
Bianca & I went on a nature walk to Bushrangers Bay in the Mornington Peninsula National Park. It's a relatively easy walk that is about 4-5km round-trip. The weather was beautiful. We made some new kangaroo friends which was awesome! If you go during summer or warmer weather days you can swim there just be careful of the rough waters and rips there, it is not recommended by Parks Victoria as it's unpatrolled.
I couldn't find much on Elephant rock so I can't confirm my facts that I said in the video but I can confirm it is a culturally significant site for our indigenous people on the Mornington Peninsula.
I would definitely recommend this walk if you like this sort of thing. Just google Bushrangers Bay walking tracks or Greens bush walking tracks. There is a much longer walk that is part of this one which is around 10+km but is still relatively easy to medium difficulty.

WALKING BUSHRANGERS BAY VIC
The beautiful Bushrangers Bay comprises of a sandy beach surrounded by basalt cliffs. This serene location is contrasted by dark and brooding headlands and wild waves that often crash onto jagged rocks guarding the entrance to the bay.
Bushrangers Bay can be accessed along Main Creek from the Boneo Road car park and picnic area (2.5km). This section of the Two Bays Walking Track provides fine views and passes through shady Banksia groves.

Adventure can take place anywhere at anytime when you have an adventurer spirit. I love this place (Bushrangers Bay) so much I wouldn't mind walking that 2.6km one way walk again. Melbourne is actually full of surprises and I can't wait to explore more places.
