Record of a collapsed disused railway in Whitstable, Kent. Amateur home movie.
Brief shot of collapsed bridge. A tree lined road is filled with rubble. Boys play around the fallen structure. There is a yellow digger type piece of plant machinery with caterpillar tracks nearby. A later shot of the scene shows the road with much of the rubble cleared. There is a man wearing a hard hat.
Shots of newspaper headlines. The Kent Messenger reads : World's oldest railway bridge goes. The Whitstable Times reads: The Old Bridge is Down!

My mate Jack
Had a panic attack
His doctor was a quack
Proscribed him Prozac
Jack said Ewww
No thank you
I'm gonna take my motor
All the way down the A2

Say Whitstable
It's mystical
Biblical
The women are dependable
The men delectable

Now Jack feels grand
Dancing in the sand
He often drinks with Bill
At The Duke Of Cumberland
I heard Peggy Mount
And 50Cent
Scored a bargain down The Pound Shop
and finished off at Whites Of Kent

Say Whitstable
Incredible
A spectacle
I've heard the beer drinkable
Happiness plentiful

Watch the the movers, the shakers, the talkers even and of course the dancers.Shocking.....Read the reviews :- 'this 2.4-minute of piffle may run a full half second shorter than its predecessors, but it is so dull and lacking in creativity and tension that it feels like the longest one' - The Whitstable Whistler
