Road Trip - Salmon Fly Fishing in Nova Scotia | Get ready to catch big one!!
We often forget that the vehicles were not just for moving from point A to point B! It takes us on an adventure and out of our daily routine! This is the case of the Subaru Ascent, always ready to take you off the beaten track with its legendary symmetrical all-wheel drive! During a road trip in Cape Breton, we decided to share my adventure and go flyfishing on the Margaree River with Robert Chiasson (a local guide!!). The history of fishing in Margaree is rich and storied. The Margaree River is the liquid backbone of the whole area, as close to an angler’s paradise as you will find in Nova Scotia; you can fish its pools all day, find good spots to relax and share good times with friends after the sun goes down. Salmon fishing is not that easy and you need to be prepared! With 13,300 km of saltwater and freshwater coastline, which includes 6,700 lakes and 100 rivers that offer a variety of sport fishing experiences for avid anglers and beginners, it's no wonder that Nova Scotia is hailed as a sports fishing paradise. Whether you are looking for solitude or a fun family adventure, sportfishing in Nova Scotia offers it all.
