A RAINY AITUTAKI LAGOON CRUISE | Vaka Cruise to One Foot Island Aitutaki, Cook Islands
It happens to be a rainy day in Aitutaki, Cook Islands, when I took the Aitutaki Lagoon Cruise to the famous One Food Island Aitutaki. Yes, even though the weather is not cooperating, I still had an excellent Cook Island Lagoon experience.
Not everyday you can say that you're in the Paradise. And even better, than you are in the rainy paradise!
Vaka Cruise is definitely one of the must thing to do in Aitutaki, Cook Islands. While the staff is friendly and helpful, the food is good, and the paradise is spectacular.
The highlight of the experience is the snorkeling in Cook Islands with some giant trevally and the giant clams.

Meet one of Aitutaki's celebrities - George - one of the giant trevallies that hangs out in the lagoon waiting for our guests on The Vaka Cruise to arrive and feed him and his family. Meeting super friendly George is a highlight for our guests. Spending time with George the giant (and I mean GIANT) trevally and his family...a real highlight. - Trip Advisor (
