Ancient Ohio Earthworks, A Tradition of Giants & the Return of the Thunderbirds FEATURE
Subscribe here: Watch Part 2 here: Presented by Ross Hamilton, author of The Mystery of the Serpent Mound, Star Mounds & A Tradition of Giants, & Jeffrey Wilson, Director ICCRA (Independent Crop Circle Researchers' Association).. Visit to get the full DVD or download. This two-part presentation discussed the ancient Ohio earthworks and peoples that lived in this area dating back to the last ice age. It focused on Serpent Mound as a 'case study' in understanding these ancient peoples' cosmology, and the lessons they teach us by studying the earthworks today. Ross also took a look at evidence of Giants in prehistoric America and the implications of how these discoveries could completely re-shape the history of the US.
Ross Hamilton: Born in 1948 in New York, University of Cincinnati alumnus Ross Hamilton is a writer and researcher currently specializing in piecing together ancient North American prehistory with a view toward understanding the hidden heritage of the American continent for its future spiritual advancement. Ross' book, The Mystery of the Serpent Mound, represents a 12-year research effort to correlate the main body of the teachings of the ancient Mystery Colleges to the shape and design of the famous earthwork. He also authored 'A Tradition of Giants' about the race of mound-building Giants of North America. He featured in History Channel's 'Search for the Lost Giants' and wrote the Foreword to Jim Vieira's and Hugh Newman's book 'Giants On Record'.
Jeffrey Wilson: Jeffrey Wilson, M.Sc. currently serves as a volunteer board member of the Friends of the Serpent Mound as the Director of Special Events and Projects. He is also a contributing member of the Hanwakan Center for Prehistoric Astronomy, Cosmology, and Landscape Studies, a certified volunteer for the Ohio Historical Society, and a member of the Serpent Mound Chapter of the American Society of Dowsers. Director and co-founder of the Independent Crop Circle Researchers' Association (ICCRA) has been investigating crop circles that have been reported in the United States since 1996, and has visited well over 100 during the last twelve years.

Ohio Valley Native American Earthwork Sites and New Discoveries through Remote Sensing.
Then and Now: Archaeology, History and Preservation in the Mountain State Region
Ohio Valley Native American Earthwork Sites and New Discoveries through Remote Sensing.
Jarrod Burks, Ph.D. Ohio Valley Archaeology, Inc.
The Ohio Valley is renowned for its Native American earthwork sites, which were built between about 300 B.C and A.D. 400. These sites consist of earthen enclosures in the shapes of circles, squares, octagons, and other forms that enclosed spaces ranging from 50 feet to 1,300 feet across. The biggest sites had miles of earthen embankments and enormous mounds. It's believed these earthwork sites were the ceremonial centers for communities of people who lived in the surrounding area, and they were also used for burying the dead in many cases. In this presentation we learn about what earthwork sites consist of and how they have been studied in the past. We then explore some new and exciting findings from a selection of sites where remote sensing instruments have detected a wide range of features, from large pits filled with bright orange burned dirt to the remains of large wooden post circles, to entirely unknown earthwork complexes- there is much yet to discover about earthworks in the Ohio Valley.
A public symposium sponsored by the West Virginia Humanities Council, West Virginia University's Native American Studies Program, and Grave Creek Mound Archaeological Complex, West Virginia Division of Culture and History. Grave Creek Mound Archaeological Complex, Moundsville, WV 6-8-13

9 Ton Gate - Megalithic Miracle at Coral Castle, Florida

Website....................
We are at coral castle in Florida, and let’s take a look at the most mysterious structure in this castle – called the 9 ton gate. This 8 foot tall revolving gate has not only baffled common people but has also challenged modern day engineers. By the end of this video, I hope you will agree with me that this gate could not have been built by a single man unless he knew some kind of a secret ancient technology.
The nine ton gate no longer works, but here is a smaller 3 ton gate which still works. Edward Leedskalnin considered the 9 ton gate as a master piece and named this place after this gate, so the original name of Coral castle was Rock Gate Park. Ironically the door did not get much attention from experts before it stopped working in 1986. So the owner initially calls a local construction crew and they take a good look at this gate and tell him that they have no idea how to fix it. Now, the owner decides to call the quote on quote “educated engineers” and calls the University of Florida. They send in a team of 6 engineers and they arrive with plenty of modern equipment including a 20 ton crane. Now, keep in mind Ed did not use any modern equipment and built this door without anyone’s help.
When the engineers took the door down, they saw that Ed had not only modified simple car parts like axle shaft and ball bearings of a 1918 ford truck, but had also used a strange circular stone at the bottom. The engineers couldn't understand how this Frisbee sized rock could withstand 9 tons of weight. So, they sent it to the geology department in the University of Florida. Guess what happened? A month later, the expert geologists simply returned the rock to coral castle and told the owner “hey, We have compared this rock with almost all other types of rocks on this planet, and we have even compared it with meteorites, but we cannot determine the origin of this rock. “So, where did this rock come from? How did a man with a fourth grade education who rode nothing more than a bike, get a hold of this rock?
Anyways, the engineers put the gate back with new shaft and new bearings, but removed the rock because they were the experts and they could do better than the uneducated Ed Leedskalnin. You know what happened? It got stuck, and did not move. Believe it or not they had to shave the rock down, to make it work. This just proves that 6 experts with all their modern techniques could not duplicate what Ed had done single-handedly without modern equipment or techniques.
Now the original door which lasted from 1936 to 1986 could be moved by an 8 year old girl with one finger. After 1986, it was not that easy, but a grown man could move the door with one hand. But it only lasted until 2004 and then it ceased. At that time, 3 different teams of engineers looked at it and basically said “Leave it alone, it could crack open like an egg”. Because this rock is made of honeycomb coral, which is very brittle and it will break if you give a strong tap with a hammer. How could Ed quarry and cut this huge stone without breaking it? And how could Ed drill a hole exactly through the center of balance even though this rock is not a perfect rectangle?
Now, he claimed that he could build Coral Castle because he knew the secret behind the construction of the great pyramid. Strabo, a Greek geographer found a similar revolving door in the pyramid of Giza. He has documented that in 24 B.C while exploring the Pyramid, he stumbled on a large rectangular door made of rock. He mentions that this door leads to a long, narrow passage and when the door is shut, it is so perfect that it seems like any other rock in the Pyramid. Today, experts are still searching for this door. This raises the question if Ed really knew the secret behind the Pyramid of Giza? Is that why he was able to build a similar door in Coral castle?
Finally, there are many people who claim that Ed was simply a con man and a pseudoscientist. Here we have a pseudoscientist who could quarry, cut and put in place a 9 ton door without anyone’s help or modern technology. And we have the real scientists who come in as a team and with all their modern equipment and scientific calculations cannot duplicate what a pseudoscientist created. So you tell me, who the real scientist is and who should be labeled as pseudoscientists?
Please visit for intriguing and interesting places on the planet.

Window On Collecting Art & Antiques: #2 - Weller Sicard Pottery & Jacques Sicard
Window On Collecting Art & Antiques: Weller Sicard Pottery & Jacques Sicard. This is episode #2 in the video series by fine artist and collector, Paul J. Katrich.
Jacques Sicard was an unique pottery decorator, who developed his own glazes and methods to achieve extraordinary colors with iridescent, satin-matte surfaces. He first developed these glazes and techniques in the late 1800's while working with the important studio potter, Clement Massier in France. Then in the early 1900's, Sicard came to the United States and designed works for the Weller Pottery in Zanesville, Ohio. There he produced the famous Weller Sicard line of pottery, also known as Sicardo. Jacques Sicard produced this pottery in secret, and when he left Weller Pottery in 1907, they were unable to continue his methods.
The video series, Window On Collecting Art & Antiques is written and presented by Paul J. Katrich. He has a lifelong passion for art and antiques, both as a collector and a fine artist. Paul Katrich started collecting antiques as a teenager, at the same time as becoming an accomplished painter. He then earned a degree in Art History and a Graduate Certificate in Archival Administration. For a few years Mr. Katrich owned a business restoring antiques, when he learned various techniques and inspirations of other artists, including methods to create ceramics. Finally in 1995 he decided to start a modern studio pottery, Katrich Studios, where he developed his own formulas and techniques for luster ceramics. Today Paul Katrich creates unique works that continue 1000's of years of ceramic traditions and progress. Luster Pottery by Paul J. Katrich can be seen in other videos. His pottery is available at The Showplace galleries in New York City, and at fine antiques & arts shows, listed at his website, Katrich.com.

Fox River Trolley Museum: Riding in a Historic Interurban
On Saturday, July 27, 2019 we went to the Fox River and Trolley in South Elgin, Illinois and rode in former Chicago, Aurora, and Elgin Interurban #20. Car #20 was built in 1902 by Niles. 20 is the oldest operating Interurban trolley car in the United States. It pulled passengers on the Chicago, Aurora, and Elgin Trolley Line. It was acquired in 1962 at Fox River Trolley Museum and it’s been there and operating since. The Fox River Trolley Museum is a nice little museum, we definitely recommend going there.
