Versailles is a 90,001 square-foot house residential home belonging to Westgate Resorts founder David Siegel and his wife Jackie Siegel — and under construction at 6121 Kirkstone Lane, Windermere, Florida in the gated community of Lake Butler Sound in Orange County. Both named and modeled after the Palace of Versailles in France, the completed project will be one of the largest single-family home in the United States which include Biltmore House at 178,926 square feet
Construction began in 2004 with progress subsequently stalling at 60% completion in 2009 when Siegel's company encountered financial difficulties — and the home was listed for sale at $65 million
With Westgate Resorts' improved finances as of 2013, Siegel now owns the property outright and construction will resume with completion scheduled for 2016. Expected to appraise over $100 million, the project will be the fourth most expensive house in the United States.
Designed as the primary residence of the Siegels and their eight children,[6] the home and its owners were the subject of the 2012 documentary film The Queen of Versailles as well as an episode of CNBC's Secret Lives of the Super Rich.
Constructed on a man-made hill on 10 acres of lakefront property[6][9] the residence will include 9 kitchens,[2] 13 bedrooms,[3] 25 bathrooms,[3] 30-car garage,[1] two-lane bowling alley,[1] indoor rollerskating rink,[1] 3 indoor pools, 2 outdoor pools,[3] video arcade,[6] ballroom with a 500-person capacity,[4] two-story movie theater with balcony inspired by the Paris Opera House,[1][3] fitness center with 10,000 square-foot spa,[1] yoga studios,[1] 20,000-bottle wine cellar,[6] xotic fish aquarium,[6] two tennis courts,[6] baseball diamond,[6] formal outdoor garden,[6] and elevator in the master bedroom closet.[2] Because the Siegels's children are older now, modifications to the original plans include turning playrooms into a teenager’s cave with a second movie theater and a yoga studio.[10][11]
Doors and windows are constructed using some of the last remaining Brazilian mahogany,[1] at a cost of $4 million.[2][6] Exterior walls are precast concrete with Pavonazzo marble veneer;[6]the entryway will feature a 30-foot stained-glass domed oculus;[1] and the residence will have ten staff quarters, each with a jacuzzi and a kitchen.[1]

Annie and Frank Visit With Annie's Relatives
Joan Dowler, great great grandniece of Annie Oakley, reads from an interview with her uncle, Don Blakeley, about Annie and Frank visiting their house. She also remembers a little family story about Annie paying the kids (Don and his sister) a small amount to bring her breakfast in the mornings. The winery she mentions is the Winery At Versailles (Ohio).

Medieval America episode 20: Kentucky Castle
Medieval America Episode 20: Kentucky Castle
Kentucky Castle is a modern castle styled after a Norman Keep with a central keep and a curtain wall with towers going all the way around it. It is a functional Hotel, Restaurant, event center and tourist spot. It also has a working farm that grows vegetables, truffles and bees for it’s restaurant.
The day I visited they were having an outdoor event with lots of vendors. That is the area under the tent. It was a kind of farmers market.
I learned a lot from visiting this castle. And much of this will be useful to me when building my castle. The first big thing is that the curtain wall that goes all the way around the keep encloses an area called a bailey. And in this bailey you can have events, gardens, an apiary and more. They even have a tennis court in their bailey.
The second big thing that I learned from this castle is that they have a beautiful roof-top section where in the evening you can dine, dance, have drinks and have events. All under the stars. I like that a lot. My castle will have something like this.

Steel Mill Concert Poster 1970 Bruce with Ike & Tina Turner
Steel Mill Concert Poster 1970 Bruce with Ike & Tina Turner
An original, vintage Steel Mill window card which had Bruce Springsteen opening for the Ike & Tina Turner Revue at the Mosque in Richmond, VA in 1970.
This large, original cardboard concert poster for Steel Mill opening for Ike & Tina Turner was printed by Globe Posters of Baltimore, MD.
Concert placards from The Mosque in Richmond, VA are not that uncommon because that venue hosted many shows over the years.
Finding a Bruce Springsteen broadside from before his first album came out in 1972 is always great fun for collectors.
Original Steel Mill window displays were made only from November 1969 to January 1971, after which Springsteen moved on with a new band name.
Miami Steve Van Zandt had just joined Steel Mill in March 1970, meaning this authentic Springsteen telephone-pole poster features him in the band.
Additionally, lead vocalist Robbin Thompson joined Steel Mill in August 1970, so this concert billboard also has his presence.
This vintage concert tour poster was printed using Day-Glo pink and yellow colors, in addition to the usual black & white.
Here's a list of the complete text found on this old Mosque placard made by Globe Posters:
MOSQUE -- Richmond, VA. -- Sun. Oct. 11, 7:30 P.M. -- Admission: Orchestra $5.50 -- Grand Tier $5.00 -- Balcony $4.50
Tickets on Sale at: Thalhimer's, Downtown -- Music City, Southside Plaza -- Gary's, Willow Lawn -- Churchill Records -- Barkey Records -- Bill Jones, Petersburg
Presenting In Concert -- The Fantastic Ike & Tina Turner and Their Fabulous Revue -- Wanna Take You Higher; Please, Please, Please. They Are Too Much -- Look Magazine
The Dynamic Ikettes -- Also Special Added Attraction -- Steel Mill
Globe Poster -- Baltimore
This giant cardboard concert sign measures about 22 inches wide by 32 inches tall.
Richmond, Virginia concert posters from the 1960s are not that unusual because many acts played this town as a tour stop back then. Richmond had a bustling rock 'n' roll scene in the sixties.
Fans of early Bruce Springsteen love to seek out old Steel Mill concert signs, Child concert posters, Earth window cards, Castiles placards, Dr. Zoom & the Sonic Boom concert posters and all the incarnations the Boss used before he settled on Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band.
Added value for this Steel Mill tour poster: Vinny Mad Dog Lopez was playing drums and the late Danny Federici was on keyboards, making it quite nostalgic.
This vintage Steel Mill concert placard is enthusiastically fawned over in this video by collector Peter Howard in California (either 805-540-0020 or pete@postercentral.com).
