Trump Still Denying Election Hack Findings
Donald Trump is continuing to battle conclusions made by US intelligence agencies on Russian involvement in the 2016 election. On Saturday, the president-elect defended his long-standing belief that closer ties with Russia would be beneficial for the US. Trump's comments occurred only a day after he was given intelligence stating the Russian government hacked Democratic Party groups and individuals during the election. It was further found that Russia acted to hurt Hillary Clinton's campaign to benefit Trump.

Legends Resort - The Myrtle Beach Golf Buzz
Legends Resort of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is the focus of this edition of The Myrtle Beach Golf Buzz with Blair O'Neal. Presented by Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday - GolfHoliday.com.
Blair talks with Matt Biddington, Golf Professional at the Legends Resort and Golf.
Three different championship courses, all 4.5 Stars by Golf Digest says Matt. We'll start off with the Heathland, that opened first back in 1990, and it's definitely the more forgiving of the three. It's a Scottish links style golf course, Par 71, designed by Tom Doak.
The Moorland is the second course. It was rated the 37th most difficult golf courses in the United States by Golf Digest, so it's a little more challenging. A P. B. Dye Design, a lot of elevated tees, elevated greens, very scenic out there.
The Parkland, came a year after that in 1992, and is a more traditional style, tree-lined fairways, and it goes back through the housing developments and the golf villas that we have here on site.
In addition to the three courses we have here on site, we also have a 35-acre lit practice range as well as an acre-and-a-half putting green behind the clubhouse. There a lot of things to do right here.
Can you tell me about one of the toughest holes out here? asks Blair. It would be on the Moorland course, the sixteenth hole, and actually has it's own nickname, so you know its a good golf hole. It's called Hell's Half-acre. It's actually a drivable par four,
but if you don't hit the green, then that's where the Hell's Half Acre comes in. There's a lot of waste areas, a lot of small pot bunkers, a very difficult hole. It's the ultimate risk-reward, and par is a very good score.
To book at tee time at Legends Resort, go to legendsgolf.com, or golfholiday.com.

Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe
United States President Donald Trump expressed his grief for the 37 victims of Hurricane Florence, on a visit to Conway, North Carolina, on Wednesday.
To the families who have lost loved ones, America grieves with you. And our hearts break for you. God bless you. We will never forget your loss, Trump said.
On his official tour to the hurricane-ravaged states, Trump has promised to invest in rebuilding affected communities.
He reassured the people of North and South Carolina that his administration were getting all teed up for a lot of money to come down to the area - you are going to need it and we have it and we will be supplying it and there will be nothing left undone. You will have everything you need.
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) administrator Brock Long stressed that this event is not over, the rivers are still cresting and so we still have a lot of work to do when it comes to the life-safety, life-sustainment mission.

Conway: They are doing great work over at 'DOJ'
(29 Aug 2018) White House Adviser Kellyanne Conway's says 'they are doing a great work over at the DOJ,' when asked whether President Donald Trump is getting ready to fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Conway's comments come just a day after Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said Trump and Sessions relationship was 'beyond repair.'
Trump has repeatedly lashed out at Sessions for recusing himself last year from the Russia investigation and leaving the probe in the hands of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who then appointed Mueller as special counsel. He told Fox News last week that Sessions had never had control of the Justice Department and that the only reason he had selected him was because he had been loyal on the campaign trail.
Sessions, previously a Republican senator from Alabama, responded with a rare public statement saying that he and his department will not be improperly influenced by political considerations.

South Carolina Republican's town hall starts rowdy, ends peaceably
U.S. Senator Tim Scott faced a quandary on Saturday in hosting his town hall: he promised to meet with his South Carolina constituents, but he wanted to avoid the kind of adversarial free-for-all so many Republicans encountered this week.
Scott decided to ban placards from his North Charlestown meeting in hopes of averting the raucousness that erupted at dozens of town halls during the first congressional recess of Donald Trump's month-old presidency.
The senator also required the crowd submit questions in writing ahead of time after other Republican lawmakers faced a wave of anger on issues ranging from Trump's immigration and healthcare policies to the president's ties to Russia.
Despite Scott's precautions, arguments broke out and constituents told one another to shut up, though many in the audience - mostly white and over the age of 50 - said the senator remained respectful and sincere. And it never degenerated into an all-out shouting match.
Scott, the only African-American Republican in the U.S. Senate, began his town hall by pulling slips of paper from a box and reading the questions aloud. But the overflow audience of 300, evenly divided between Trump opponents and supporters, reacted with loud boos and cheers, even before he could begin to answer.
To a question about a rise in hate crimes, Scott said the trend predates the president's campaign.
We can blame Trump for a lot of things but I don't think we can blame him for this one, he said, following a pattern of distancing himself from Trump without directly criticizing him.
Some people have come to the conclusion that this president has already failed, Scott said. I hope that most of us, whether you voted for him or not, hope that he succeeds.
When asked about Trump's repeated denunciations of the media, Scott said he believed the press was more biased than in the past. Even so, he said, I do not believe the press is an enemy to the American people, a phrase coined by the president.
Still, the meeting's format started to break down almost from the outset, with the audience shouting asides, while others tried to silence them. Scott answered some of the comments, but if he was interrupted, he tried to talk over the offender.
LET THE MAN ANSWER
The confrontational tone of this week's town halls is part of a tide of anti-Trump protests, marches and rallies that show little sign of abating just over a month into the new administration.
The anti-Trump energy has prompted talk of a liberal-style Tea Party movement, in reference to the protests in 2009 that helped reshape the Republican Party and arguably laid the groundwork for Trump's surprise electoral victory last year.
At Scott's town hall, the senator did allow a mother to stand up and tell her story. She said one of her two premature children died and the other was 6 years old with medical bills totaling more than $2 million, she said tearfully.
The Affordable Care Act is imperfect but it is a good law. It saved my family, she said to a standing ovation, referring to the health care program known as Obamacare.
That's a heartbreaking story, Scott said, pointing out that he chose ACA coverage for himself and his staff. Even so, Obamacare is not sustainable.
The session almost broke down when a man stood up and faced the crowd as audience members were peppering Scott with loud comments. Let the man answer the question, the man said on the senator's behalf. Sit down and shut up.
Two men who wore red Make America Great Again hats clapped loudly. Arguments broke out in the crowd.
Eventually, Scott threatened to walk out.
I know we prefer to blame Trump for our incivility, he said. Let me ask, if we want to continue this conversation, that we do so in a way that no one feels threatened.
His admonitions appeared to work. Order was eventually restored, and Scott gave up on picking questions from the box and started calling on audience members if they raised their hands. The session ended on a relatively civil note.

Vice President Pence calls Mueller report 'total vindication'
As the dust settled Monday on the Mueller probe's final curtain-closing, Republicans in Washington swung from defense to offense, calling for new deep-dives into a cast of characters who started and fueled the lengthy Russia-conspiracy chase. A day after Special Counsel Robert Mueller exonerated President Trump from claims that he colluded with Russia to win his election, his spokespersons, lawyers and partisan advocates blanketed the airwaves and the Internet with demands for Obama administration officials and Justice Department insiders to face their own scrutiny. 'If we're all serious about getting to the truth and not just scoring political points,' a senior White House official told DailyMail.com on Monday, 'you really have to be willing to investigate the investigators after something this far-reaching falls apart.' Senior Trump aides Kellyanne Conway and Sarah Sanders blanketed the airwaves Monday morning with similar recommendations. Conway called for Democratic House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff to resign. But James Comey, James Clapper, John Brennan, Loretta Lynch, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and other current and former government officials went from heroes to potential villains in the blink of a political news cycle when South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham spoke to the press.

Donald J.Trump & Friends...
Donald J. Trump is an absolutely historic President already, in less than 3 years in office. His record is there for everyone to look at & to examine and compare. This is an illegitimate effort to overthrow a President, not a formal Impeachment inquiry.”
