Wollondilly Remembers
Transport Heritage NSW participated in the Wollondilly Remembers ANZAC Centenary commemoration on April 18, 2015, running 2705 on two re-enactments of WWI Troop Trains. The trips operated between Thirlmere and Buxton, with the locomotive bedecked with Australian and UK flags, a wreath, and a headboard For King and Country.
Wollondilly
A day trip by members of Sydney's Neutral Bay Probus Club and their wives to visit the Wollondilly Heritage Centre at The Oaks near Camden on the outskirts of Sydney and to also see and hear the story of the construction of the huge Warragamba Dam sourcing much of Sydney's water supply - although then depleted because of a long drought. A beautiful part of the Sydney outer urban area with a keen appreciation of cultural interests ideally displayed at the local Heritage Centre. A day trip outing for the Neutral Bay Probus Club on 26 July 2005 organised by member Ross Bruwel.

Save the old Menangle School in Wollondilly
The historic Menangle School Hall was saved from State Government demolition by the concerted action of local people. Now rather than being locked away behind a cyclone wire fence, it needs to be handed back to the local community to allow its restoration & revival as an important public space in Menangle. There also needs to be a grant of land around the building to maintain its amenity and provide for a greater diversity of community activities.
