You might be Surprised what you will get if you just ASK the question. (London, England) page 3
You have nothing to lose by asking a question. What’s the worst thing that can happen, someone says no. I was caught off guard when I asked for a free beer and got it. Stay in the positive thought frames by doing that which makes you happy, and continue to watch more things manifest into a YES!

Imperial units
The system of imperial units or the imperial system (also known as British Imperial) is the system of units first defined in the British Weights and Measures Act of 1824, which was later refined and reduced. The system came into official use across the British Empire. By the late 20th century, most nations of the former empire had officially adopted the metric system as their main system of measurement; however some Imperial units are still used in the United Kingdom and Canada. This system developed from what was first known as English units.

About this location
Custom House Leith is an imposing Georgian building being brought back to life after 30 years of under use. The A-listed Georgian building was designed by Robert Reid in a neo-classical style and was constructed between 1810-12, making it the oldest custom house in Scotland. The building was subsequently used by National Museums Scotland as a storage facility, with no public access. In 2015 Custom House Leith was acquired by the City of Edinburgh through its Common Good Fund and shortly afterwards Scottish Historic Buildings Trust, a national charity whose mission is saving buildings at risk, was brought on board to lead its regeneration and restoration. Since then Custom House Leith and its adjoining Cruiser Store (now known as Custom Lane) have become a thriving hub for the creative arts in the heart of Leith, as artists, craftspeople, designers, and small businesses breathe new life into what has become a vibrant district with a distinctive and innovative culture.
Craster Harbour from the sky - August 2015 - Watch in HD!
The second video of Craster, this time with the harbour included. Didn't manage to get as high as I would have liked on this video as there were lots of seagulls about and it was pretty windy. And for my second go I didn't want to be too adventurous! Enjoy.

Conservative MP Pauline Latham led a debate on the Ukrainian Holodomor on 11 June 2013.
The Holodomor or famine plague as it is known in Ukraine, was part of Joseph Stalin's programme to crush the resistance of the peasantry to the collectivisation of farming.
Millions of Ukrainians - or about a quarter of the country's population - starved to death in 1932-33 as the USSR leader stripped them of their produce in a forced farm collectivisation campaign.

SUMMARY
=======
The Hanseatic League (; Middle Low German: Hanse, Düdesche Hanse, Hansa; Standard German: Deutsche Hanse; Standard
Dutch: De Hanze; Latin: Hansa Teutonica) was a commercial and defensive confederation of merchant guilds and market towns in Northwestern and Central Europe. Growing from a few North German towns in the late 1100s, the league came to dominate Baltic maritime trade for three centuries along the coasts of Northern Europe. Hansa territories stretched from the Baltic to the North Sea and inland during the Late Middle Ages, and diminished slowly after 1450.
Hanse, later spelled as Hansa, was the Old High German word for a convoy, and this word was applied to bands of merchants traveling between the Hanseatic cities – whether by land or by sea.Merchant circles established the league to protect the guilds' economic interests and diplomatic privileges in their affiliated cities and countries, as well as along the trade routes which the merchants used. The Hanseatic cities had their own legal system and operated their own armies for mutual protection and aid. Despite this, the organization was not a state, nor could it be called a confederation of city-states; only a very small number of the cities within the league enjoyed autonomy and liberties comparable to those of a free imperial city.

SUMMARY
=======
Anselm of Canterbury (; 1033/4–1109), also called Anselm of Aosta (Italian: Anselmo d'Aosta) after his birthplace and Anselm of Bec (French: Anselme du Bec) after his monastery, was a Benedictine monk, abbot, philosopher and theologian of the Catholic Church, who held the office of archbishop of Canterbury from 1093 to 1109. After his death, he was canonized as a saint; his feast day is 21 April.
Beginning at Bec, Anselm composed dialogues and treatises with a rational and philosophical approach, sometimes causing him to be credited as the founder of Scholasticism. Despite his lack of recognition in this field in his own time, Anselm is now famed as the originator of the ontological argument for the existence of God and of the satisfaction theory of atonement. He was proclaimed a Doctor of the Church by a bull of Pope Clement XI in 1720.
As archbishop, he defended the church's interests in England amid the Investiture Controversy. For his resistance to the English kings William II and Henry I, he was exiled twice: once from 1097 to 1100 and then from 1105 to 1107. While in exile, he helped guide the Greek bishops of southern Italy to adopt Roman rites at the Council of Bari. He worked for the primacy of Canterbury over the bishops of York and Wales but, though at his death he appeared to have been successful, Pope Paschal II later reversed himself and restored York's independence.
Dundee Antifascist March Scotland 2012
Dundee has a proud history of anti-fascism. On Sept 1st 2012 Dundonians marched to commemorate the volunteers from Dundee who joined the international brigades to fight Franco's fascism in Spain and who gave their lives in that struggle against fascism. Some of the chants on the demonstration included No SDL or BNP! Keep Dundee Fascist-free! The banner leading the demo read: Dundee Together and there were numerous placards reading Dundee says Nae Nazis No to SDL There was a Lochee anti-fascists banner, the trade union banners of UNITE and PCS and UNISON and FBU flags and banners from left-wing and progressive political parties and organisations. There was a MLKP Marxist Leninist Communist Party banner, Anarchist groups with black flags, socialists, red flags, greens with their banner and many more opposing fascism.
On the same day Dundee held a multicultural festival in the main square.The racist and Islamophobic SDL planned to hold a demonstration in Dundee that day but the Dundee council did not give them permission for a march, and when the SDL (who are actually mainly EDL thugs transported up from England) turned up anyway for a static demo the police did not let them anywhere near the main square where the multicultural festival was being held. They were contained in a small area round the corner from the shopping centre. Anti-fascists let them know that racism was not welcome in Dundee and chanted at them until they were sent away on a bus. Meanwhile the multicultural festival was in full swing in the main square. This video shows the earlier part of the day when anti-fascists marched to a plaque commemorating the anti-fascist Dundonian volunteers, the laying of flowers as a tribute and the march back to the square where the multicultural festival was beginning.

SUMMARY

East Coast, the trading name of the East Coast Main Line Company, was a British train operating company running the InterCity East Coast franchise on the East Coast Main Line between London, Yorkshire, North East England, and Scotland. East Coast ran long-distance inter-city services from its Central London terminus at London King's Cross on two primary routes; the first to Leeds and the second to Edinburgh via Newcastle with other services reaching into Yorkshire and Northern and Central Scotland. It commenced operations on 14 November 2009 and ceased on 28 February 2015.East Coast was a subsidiary of Directly Operated Railways, formed by the Department for Transport as an operator of last resort when National Express refused to provide further financial support to its National Express East Coast (NXEC) subsidiary and consequently lost its franchise. The franchise was re-nationalised on 14 November 2009, with the intention being that operations would return to a private franchisee by December 2013. In March 2013 the Secretary of State for Transport announced that this would occur in February 2015 instead.In January 2014, FirstGroup, Keolis/Eurostar and Stagecoach/Virgin were announced as the shortlisted bidders for the new franchise. The franchise passed to Virgin Trains East Coast on 1 March 2015.

SUMMARY
=======
Scotland (Scots: Scotland, Scottish Gaelic: Alba [ˈal̪ˠapə] ( listen)) is a country that is part of the United Kingdom and covers the northern third of the island of Great Britain. It shares a border with England to the south, and is otherwise surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, with the North Sea to the east and the North Channel and Irish Sea to the south-west. In addition to the mainland, the country has more than 790 islands, including the Northern Isles and the Hebrides.
The Kingdom of Scotland emerged as an independent sovereign state in the Early Middle Ages and continued to exist until 1707. By inheritance in 1603, James VI, King of Scots, became King of England and King of Ireland, thus forming a personal union of the three kingdoms. Scotland subsequently entered into a political union with the Kingdom of England on 1 May 1707 to create the new Kingdom of Great Britain. The union also created a new Parliament of Great Britain, which succeeded both the Parliament of Scotland and the Parliament of England. In 1801, Great Britain itself entered into a political union with the Kingdom of Ireland to create the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.Within Scotland, the monarchy of the United Kingdom has continued to use a variety of styles, titles and other royal symbols of statehood specific to the pre-union Kingdom of Scotland. The legal system within Scotland has also remained separate from those of England and Wales and Northern Ireland; Scotland constitutes a distinct jurisdiction in both public and private law. The continued existence of legal, educational, religious and other institutions distinct from those in the remainder of the UK have all contributed to the continuation of Scottish culture and national identity since the 1707 union with England.In 1997, a Scottish Parliament was re-established, in the form of a devolved unicameral legislature comprising 129 members, having authority over many areas of domestic policy. The head of the Scottish Government is the First Minister of Scotland, who is supported by the Deputy First Minister of Scotland. Scotland is represented in the United Kingdom Parliament by 59 MPs and in the European Parliament by 6 MEPs. Scotland is also a member of the British–Irish Council, and sends five members of the Scottish Parliament to the British–Irish Parliamentary Assembly.Scotland is divided into 32 subdivisions, known as local authorities, or councils. Glasgow City is the largest subdivision in Scotland in terms of population, with Highland being the largest in terms of area. Limited self-governing power, covering matters such as education, social services and roads and transportation, is devolved from the Scottish Government to each subdivision.
