Exploring Bexhill West Disused Railway Station with Dumpman
Chris Bedford, AKA Dumpman, and I are off again exploring disused railways. Today we explore Bexhill West Station in East Sussex. We're checking out the architecture and seek out remaining clues of the building's previous life as a terminus station for the Sussex seaside holiday resort.
Bexhill West is a closed station in Bexhill-on-Sea in East Sussex. It was the terminus of the Bexhill West branch of the Hastings Line. It was opened by the South Eastern and Chatham Railway and was operated by the Southern Region of British Railways on closing. The station building still survives as an antiques house. The trackbed and site of the now demolished platforms are now occupied by commercial industrial buildings.

Our thanks to Era of Style, the antique shop currently in Bexhill West for giving us permission to film. Check out their web site here:

UFO Captured on Photograph at Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex, UK
This photograph was taken on Saturday 10th August 2013. Time 7:59 PM, and submitted to the UFO Casebook.
I saw nothing in the sky, neither did my daughter, who I was with when the photo was taken. There was a strange electric/static feeling in the atmosphere. It had been a very hot day with lots of people on the beach.
It wasn't until I went back through my phone to delete photos taken to save on the memory that I noticed this object I had caught on photo.
I thought at first there might have been a mark on the windscreen until I remembered my daughter washing the car before we went out for her to practice driving for her upcoming driving test.
Also the windscreen mark is debunked by the slight shadow on the ocean caused by the object.
I would be grateful for your input on the attached photo, and await your reply.

£399,950 Pages Lane, Bexhill-On-Sea | New Move Estate Agents
New Move are delighted to market this well presented 4 bedroom detached property in this sought after location on the border of Little Common.
Situated close to the rail network and within a five minute walk of the beach, this secluded cul-de-sac location offers off-road parking and a mature well presented garden.
The property in our opinion has been finished to a high standard with a bespoke kitchen, new boiler and patio window. New carpets on both floors. It benefits from a ground floor bedroom with en-suite facilities utility room and three further bedrooms on the first floor along with a good size family bathroom.
Contact New Move 0845 862 9090 to arrange a viewing.
