The restaurant ‘Gymnasium’ is located in the historical heart of the city, within several minutes walk of St. Isaac Cathedral. The restaurant has been settled in the house of the former girl’s gymnasium in Konnogvardeisky boulevard. It has been established recently, but the restaurant has been highly appraised by Petersburg citizens and city guests.
Spacious restaurant halls house 400 visitors. The main hall is decorated in classical style resembling palace interiors: elegant columns along the hall, cozy elite furniture made according to historical patterns, fine lamps decorate the walls. In such luxury even everyday life with its bustle and problems gets the shade of aristocratism.
The bar hall interior is modern. The color scale is elegant black. Massive red chandeliers brighten up this dark space with soft illumination. So the atmosphere of aristocratic exquisiteness is created in the hall. Cozy leather sofas, plasma panels promote to the comfortable rest. VIP cabins suit ideally to have a private talk or meeting.
When the weather is fine it is a great pleasure to have a rest at summer veranda located in the restaurant yard. Pleasant gentle breeze and low leaves rustle are going to awoke inimitable sensation of calmness and solitude.
The restaurant cuisine is international; there is a wide choice of the best dishes from Russia, Asia, East and Europe. The rich wine list deserves special guests’ attention. Every night the atmosphere of the brightest holiday reigns in the restaurant: captivating laser show, live music is going to raise your spirits. As soon as you hear your favorite tunes you can’t help singing or dancing.

A hell of a journey of 7.979 KM, overland, and all alone. I traveled from Saint Petersburg to Beijing, through Russia, Mongolia and China. A mindblowing, unforgettable experience which resulted in two new friends as a major bonus..
In magical and snowy Saint Petersburg I played Anastasia in the ballrooms of The Hermitage, my little girls dream becoming realism. I took the night train to the capital of Russia, Moscow. Here I spent one of my most romantic nights of my life at the opera in the world famous Bolshoi theater. After a few days of wandering and getting lost in translation in this spectacular metropolis I started the og Trans Mongolian Express! Five days (and five timezones) in absolute primitiveness left me absolutely in love with Russia because of it's reserved but hospitable and warm inhabitants. After the idyllic village Listvyanka and the almost frozen Lake Baikal I shared a homestay with the dutch couple Tirsa and Lodewijk. Within five minutes a new friendship emerged. We drank vodka, visited the Russian Circus and ate typical Russian food in a small bar. We shared a coupe in de train to Ulaanbatar, where our paths separated. Since it was minus 25 degrees, I warmed myself in several coffee shops and visited the dinosaur museum. A private chauffeur drove me in his 4x4 to Hustai, where i stayed with a Mongolian family and helped in the household. I wont ever forget running to the outside toilet in the middle of the night in minus 40 degrees! From Ulaanbaatar i took the last train-ride to Beijing. I ate Beijing duck, took Chinese massage and visited the Great Wall. I met a group fine travelers and danced the night away in one of the biggest nightclubs in Beijing.

I had the honour and privilege of visiting the elite, most renown Vaganova Ballet Academy during my visit to give dance workshops and perform at the 36th World Dance Congress held there after being nominated by Prof. Alkis Raftis to become a member of CID UNESCO. I thank everyone for this experience from the bottom of my heart and The Royal Arts Gala Fund, Malaysia for supporting me on my invitation for this dance opportunity.
The experience at Boris Eifman Dance Academy and Theatre was unlike other. The dancers were Godlike and simply outstanding. Their bodies could move like no other and all were blessed with the physique. The men were tall, dark haired, chiseled features and very sculpted dancers. It was almost daze like to look at them and watch them dance. They looked like Rodin real life sculptures or those Greek God sculptures you see in art galleries but more dark and handsome in real life. The girls were light, tall, lightly sculpted with the flexibility and agility like a snake. Crisp style of ballet choreography and sleek lines wowed anyone observing. It was like watching knifes slicing through air with their movements.
Boris Eifman's dance company is a whole other level of Contemporary Ballet with amazing massive talents, stage sets and just grandeur of of costume and concept and lighting. This is a hidden secret of a great dance company gaining much recognition now. On equal par with Netherlands Theatre but even more grand and dark. The building itself is something to shout about. It is equally massive and equipped.

Tauride Palace located near Smolny Convent, Smolny Institute, 15 min drive from the Hermitage Museum and center of the city, Nevsky Avenue. Entry is from Schpalernaya Street.
Since it is the official state organization – the special permission is needed to enter the building.
The Taurida Palace was built in 1789 on the order of Catherine the Great for her favorite Prince Gregory Potemkin (The conqueror of Taurida). Since then, it was reconstructed several times and in the period from 1906 to 1917 the State Duma was located there. Nowadays the official governmental organization is working in the building – the Interparlement Assembly of CIS.
The Palace has the Congress Hall with the capacity of 800 people, shaped like amphitheater, and the main Column Hall designed in classical style. It can be suggested for the Gala dinner for up to 1200 people.

Naryshkin-Trubetskoy Mansion is new and fully equipped venue located at old rich in history mansion.
The mansion was purchased in 1875 by Duke Vasily Naryshkin, whose family included Nataliya Naryshkina, the second wife of Czar Alexis and the mother of Peter the Great. The mansion, in Tchaikovsky Street, had been put together by connecting two 18th century houses, one of which belonged to Pushkin’s African grandfather Abram Gannibal. After the Bolsheviks nationalised private property, part of the mansion was turned into a stolovaya, a canteen-like restaurant serving utilitarian meals, according to Russian news reports. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, the building housed apartment, became private apartments, then was purchased by Intarsia to be turned into a conference and cultural center.
Mansion became famous when Tsarist-Era Treasures were Found during restoration in 2014

St. Petersburg was built on the delta of the River Neva and is spread out over numerous islands of varying sizes. During centuries numerous bridges were built to connect these islands across the Neva and the city's many canals (Moika, Fontanka, Canal Griboyedova, etc.). Boat trip on St. Petersburg's canals is one of the highlights of any visit to the city. Canal boats are available from many docking stations around the city and provide a wonderful way to see the historic city from different perspective. The boats circle through many of the 64 canals, under beautiful bridges and past magnificent palaces and other landmarks dating back to the 20th, 19th and 18th century. Actual tour duration is 1 hour. Depending on group size can be offered boats of different size. The maximum capacity of the boat is 60 guests for inside and outside seating. Inside capacity is up to 40 seats. Security explanation is given by the guide before starting a tour and should be followed by the guests. Navigation starts at the beginning of May (depending on the ice from Ladoga Lake) and finishes at the end of September. Each time the Boat Tour is a subject of confirmation depending on the weather conditions including level of the water in Neva River, small rivers and canals and wind.
It can be two options of canal boats:
- deluxe class (newly renovated boats)
- tourist class
Price depends on the class of boat.
