Omsk Омск is a city and the administrative center of Omsk Oblast, Russia, located in southwestern Siberia. It is Russia's second-largest city east of the Ural Mountains after Novosibirsk. Omsk acts as an essential transport node, serving as a train station for Trans-Siberian Railway and as a staging post for the Irtysh River.
During the Imperial era, Omsk used to be the seat of the Governor General of Western Siberia and, later, of the Governor General of the Steppes. For a brief period during the Russian Civil War in 1918–1920, it served as the capital of the anti-Bolshevik Russian State and held the imperial gold reserves.
Omsk is the administrative center of the Siberian Cossack Host. It also serves as the episcopal see of the bishop of Omsk and Tara, as well as the administrative seat of the Imam of Siberia. (Wikipedia)

Vladimir Putin Blockade Leningrad Moscow State University
Блокада Ленинграда
Vladimir Putin visited the historical building of Moscow State University at Mokhovaya Street ahead of Russian Students Day.
During his visit to the MSU Museum of Anthropology, the President was shown the veil from the reliquary of St Zosima of Solovki (died on April 17, 1478), a co-founder of the Solovetsky Monastery. The image embroidered in gold thread on gold cloth was found in the museum’s collection in 2017 and subsequently restored at the Grabar Art Conservation Centre. According to the centre’s experts, the veil was manufactured at the turn of the 19th century. A similar veil of St Zosima made in 1661 is kept in the collection of the State Russian Museum in St Petersburg.
Vladimir Putin also met with MSU students, who showed him their designs for a digital culture and education centre for students and for the National Student Theatre Festival. They also told the President about the LANAT School Research Laboratory, which aims to encourage talented children to get involved in research projects.

,MY CITY NOVOSIBIRSK Novosibirsk- the capital of Siberia Novosibirsk is one of the biggest cities in Russia and the third largest city after Moscow and St. Petersburg ,and it is the biggest city behind the Ural. It’s situated right in the middle of Russia. The city is on bank of the Ob river. Day, when the bridge across the Ob river was started, it is considered as day when Novosibirsk was found. The famous places of Novosibirsk are “Novosibirsk Zoo”, ”Novosibirsk Art Gallery”, the theater “Red torch”, the theater “Old House”, “The Youth Theatre Globe” and “State Academy Opera and Ballet Theater”. The Youth Theatre Globes is situated in the centre of Novosibirsk. It isn’t far from Chapel. The Globe today is a huge building, it has two halls. Andrey Bondarenko
,MY CITY NOVOSIBIRSK At the end of 19th century the builders of the Trans-Siberian Railway were gradually pushing through the boundless steppes and trackless forests of Siberia towards the East. At the banks of the mighty Siberian River Ob, they came to a halt, for it had to be bridged. Nikolai Garin-Mikhailovsky, the leader of the surveying group, himself both a great engineer and a novelist, was the man who selected the site for the huge railway bridge to be built. He was the founder of Novosibirsk and today one of the finest squares in the city bears his name. Novosibirsk is a young city and perhaps the most outstanding aspect of its short life is its rate of growth. It took 750 years for the population of Moscow to reach the million mark, Kiev 700 years and New York about two hundred, but Novosibirsk has been in existence only sixty years. Now population of Novosibirsk is 1,5 millions people. Novosibirsk is the third city in Russia. In Novosibirsk are many famous sights: Railway Station, the Siberian Theatre of Opera and Ballet, the Institute of Rail Transport Engineers, the Administration of Siberian Railway, the little Railway in Zaeltsovsky park, Zoo, the square of Heroes of revolution and Chapel. Railway Station is situated on the square of Nikolai Garin-Mikhailovsky. The first performance of the Siberian Theatre of Opera and Ballet was given on Victory Day in 1945 to celebrate the surrender of Nazi Germany. Novosibirsk Zoo is one of the biggest and famous zoos in the world. The general street of Novosibirsk is Red Aveue. There is the city’s Chapel. This place is the center of Russia. RomanSpitsin

Hallways of Old Residential Buildings in St. Petersburg, Russia
Hallways (front entrances) in residential buildings of Saint Petersburg, are mostly called as парадные. Because of Russian word for front door, of front entrance (парадный вход).
Most of old residential buildings in Saint Petersburg used to be a revenue houses with usually two entrances - front entrance for hosts and guests, and back entrance for servants.
Also, Russian word парадная has a root of Russian word for parade. Many people mistakenly thinking that Parade Hallway means it's necessarily beautiful (architectural) hallway with fretwork, spiral staircases and so.
Maybe it used to be so, but nowadays every hallway is парадная (parade hallway) in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
In this video, together with Tanya Andriyanova from RUSSKI channel, we went to two of those historical front (parade) hallways of Saint Petersburg.
Both of those hallways located in the residential buildings at Five Corners area of the city - at Zagorodny Prospect, 11 (Rubinstein St., 40) and Lomonosov St., 14.
The one at Lomonosov St., 14, is considered as THE MOST beautiful hallway of Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Антоха. Путешествие из Магадана в Европу / Journey from Magadan to Europe (English subs)
