Thirtha Rameshwara temple Honnali
Thirtha Rameshwara Temple is in Honnali Taluk, Davanagere District, Karnataka, India. It is about 22 km from Honnali. According to the legend during the period of forest exile, Lord Rama made water to spurt out from the ground by shooting an arrow on the ground, on the approach of Sita. Then she asked, she wanted to perform worship to Lord Shiva, so Lord Rama created a self manifested Shivalingam for Sita to worship Lord Shiva. So this temple is called Thirtha+ Rama+Eshwara =Thirtha Rameshwara.
The level of holy water in the tank remains same throughout the year with constant flow of water into the tank. Once the tank is completely filled, the water flowing into the tank stops automatically. Even if we take out water from this tank the water level remains same.
Lord Chaturmukha Brahma is not worshiped anywhere in India, but here Brahma is being worshiped. In any of the temples in India we cannot find Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara being worshiped in the same temple, but in this temple all these three deities are being worshiped.
The holy water is 100% pure and will be fresh throughout the year and is said to cure many diseases.
The other deities here are Adishesha(Lord of Snake), Ganga Devi, Chowdeshwari, Kashi Vishwanatha etc., In the sanctum sanctorum of Brahma we can see his fourth head from the mirror which is behind his face. In this temple, in the front of main deity Rameshwara Lingam we can see 2 Nandis being established unlike other Shiva temple where we can see only a single Nandi and it is said that these 2 Nandis have been brought from Kashi by Sharanas (Shaiva devotees) and they established in this temple.

Sri Raghavendra Krupashrama, Punyasthala is in Channagiri taluk, Davangere district, Karnataka, India. It is about 28 km from Channagiri and 24 km from Honnali.
Mythologically, Punyasthala has a very rich heritage. According to the Narashima Purana, it is believed that in the Krutha Yuga, Prahlada did puja of Lord Narashima on this land which was then on the bank of river Swargawati. Narashimha Bunde atop the hill at Punyasthala has been worshipped from times immemorial as an edifice of this event. Guruji worshiped this stone ceremoniously once every twelve years. A tradition that continues till date.
In the Thretha Yuga, this was part of Dandakaranya when Shri Ram on his way to Lanka established a Rameshwar (Shiva) Temple that is worshiped even today.
In the Dwapara Yuga, during Banawas the Pandavas visited this area and Bheema killed a demon named Kimmisura.
In Kali Yuga,Sri Raghavendra Swamy visited his disciple Sri B. Srinivasacharya in the same area.
Ragavendra Swamy came in a vision and instructed Guruji to build an Ashram on this land. It was then purified with a number of Yagnas and construction started.
Additionally Guruji worshiped deities gifted to his ancestors by Shri Vidyaranya Swami (12th century )and Sri Vyasaraya Swami of Vijayanagara kingdom during the reign of Shri Krishnadeva Raya(15th century). Even to this day every Vijaya Dashami (Dussera) the family jointly worships these deities.

Sri Rameshwara Temple, Thirthalli
Sri Rameshwara Temple is the main Hindu temple of Thirthahalli. This temple is made of stone and is on the banks of the river Tunga. It is near Parashurama Thirtha. The sanctum sanctorum of the temple has a Lingam which is said to have been installed by Sage Parashurama himself. The day when Parashurama cleansed his axe to remove the sesame-sized blood stain, the New Moon Day of the month of Margashira in the Hindu calendar, is termed Yellu Amavasya; Yellu meaning sesame and Amavasya meaning New Moon day, and Thirthahalli has an annual festival, Yellu Amavasya Jatre to celebrate this.
The three days out of the five-day festival which are of particular interest to the public are Yellu Amavasya, when Utsava Moorthi, the main idol of Lord Sri Rameshwara is taken to the river to be consecrated; the second day, when the decorated temple chariot is pulled along the main street of Thirthahalli by devotees; and the third day, when the Utsava Moorthi is taken on a Teppa (raft) down the river Tunga to the river bank at Kuruvalli and brought back. This celebration is called Teppotsava (raft-festival). On this day, a lot of colourful crackers are lit and also the river banks, Tunga Bridge and Rama Mantap are decorated with lights.
