ABBA Frida & Ruzzo married in Hørsholm Kirke Denmark
I'm sure everyone knows Frida got married to Prince Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss von Plauen in 1992.
But do you also know they got married in Denmark?
More precisely in a small village church 30 km from Copenhagen called Hørsholm Kirke.
Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss had a distinguished ancestors who came from Hørsholm. He was his great-great-grandfather of a kind - and to my knowledge he was a castle owner, parliamentarian, Reichstagman and a man who had received many honors. And Ruzzo's mother often came to Hørsholm (possibly still due to relatives there?) and she told Frida and Ruzzo that should they get married, they should do so in this church. Ruzzo's mother thought it was one of the loveliest and most romantic churches she had seen - beautifully situated on a small island in the middle of a tiny lake.
I went to Hørsholm Kirke just to see where Frida had her wedding and it was a nice, sunny day. I took a video and some pictures and the result you can see here.
I wonder if there are any pictures from the wedding. I know it was kept very secret, but still I seem to remember that there was a picture in a local Danish newspaper. My memory may tease though, because maybe it was just a normal picture of Frida and Ruzzo, but I remember it as a wedding picture. Does anyone know about it?

Frederiks Kirke (Denmark) Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Frederiks Kirke in Denmark.
In the middle of the 18th century King Frederik ordered the construction of the Frederiks Kirke in the heart of Copenhagen. Around the dome’s massive external balustrade there are various statues dedicated to a number of important church leaders including Moses and Martin Luther. With a diameter of over thirty one metres the Baroque dome of the Frederiks Kirke is the third largest of its kind in the world and was originally modelled on London’s Saint Paul’s Cathedral and also Saint Peter’s in Rome. But in spite of its beautiful Neo-Classical appearance and numerous splendid sculptures, the final result turned out to be far smaller than originally hoped for by King Frederik The Fifth. However, as the church and its prominent dome blends so harmoniously with the historical townscape of Copenhagen its present day dimensions have proven to be ideal for its surroundings. The majestic dome of the Frederiks Kirke highlights the architectural importance of this fascinating building as being the largest church of its kind in Scandinavia.

Tilsandede Kirke, Skagen (Denmark) - Travel Guide
Take a tour of Tilsandede Kirke in Skagen, Denmark -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
At first glance, the Tilsandede Kirke, located in Skagen, Denmark, isn't much to look at.
However, the small, white tower that can be seen is only one part of the whole church.
The rest of the church remains buried under the earth, hence the name, which means Sand-Buried Church.
The Tilsandede Kirke closed in 1795 after sandy winds continuously built up dunes around the church.
Locals used the stones from several parts of the church for other buildings in the area.
After much research, the location of the nave and vestry was discovered and marked with stakes for visitors.

CHRISTIANS KIRKE KRYPT, COPENHAGEN, DENMARK
Christians Kirke is a magnificent Rococo church in the Christianshavn district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Designed by Nicolai Eigtved, it was built 1754–59.
The church was originally built by the German community as a church for the large German community at Christianshavn and served this purpose until the end of the 19th century. Today it is a regular parish church for Christian's Parish within the Danish National Church. Its name is a reference to King Christian IV. who founded the Christianshavn district in 1611.
Origins
After Christian IV founded Christianshavn in 1617 as a town specially for merchants, a large community of German traders and craftsmen settled there. Even though Christianshavn had been incorporated into Copenhagen prior to 1674, they did not attend St. Peter's Church like the rest of the city's German community but preferred to use the local Church of Our Saviour. This lasted until they finally asked King Christian VI for permission to build their own church. The King approved the plans and contributed with a lot, a former saltern, located at the end of Strandgade in the southern part of the neighbourhood. He also granted permission for a lottery to be held to cover the project's financing with the result that the finished church used to be colloquially known as the Lottery Church
The church also has a large crypt covering the full area of the nave above. Divided into 48 burial chapels, it has been used for burials ever since the church's consecration in 1759 and is still in use today. The grave of Danish historian Peter Frederik Suhm is located there, alongside the graves of his wife and son. The rock and roll guitarist Link Wray was buried there in 2005.

Ekstra Bladet - Clearing of demonstrators by Brorson Kirke in Copenhagen, Denmark

Clearing of demonstrators by Brorson Kirke in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Shortly after the action starting at 01.05 approximately 100 demonstrators stood in front of the church and greeted the many officers welcomed with banners and chanting as pity you, 'child murderers' and fascist pig, but using the SMS chains increased the number of angry demonstrators quickly to approximately 300th
And the angry protesters worked hard to prevent the police to carry a total of 17 detainees Iraqi men to the police. Several protesters threw themselves in front of police vehicles, while others in protest against the arrest of Iraqis laid his head on the pavement in front of the tires of the bus, those detained asylum seekers was in.
The demonstrators had also tried to barricade a large part of Rantzausgade and Chapel Road with bins, pallets, containers and bicycles in an attempt to detain the bus with those detained Iraqis.
The unrest ended at 04.15 on Åboulevard, after which the demonstrators through megaphones urged each other to show up at Kapelvej 44th Here one could 'come and get a cup of coffee and a chat about the way forward because they do not give up yet,' was the message on the streets.
