Dalyan, Turkey
Dalyan is a town on the Dalyan River, just inland from Turkey's southwest coast. Across the river from town is the ancient ruined city of Kaunos, with Lycian rock tombs and the remains of a theater. Riverboats connect Dalyan with İztuzu Beach to the south, home to protected loggerhead turtle nesting grounds. To the northwest on the shore of Lake Köyceğiz is the village of Sultaniye, known for its thermal mud baths.

Dalyan Check out trip - Tui Turkey Holidays
Jasmine and I decided to use the checkout trip through Tui as our flight was so late. We flew just before midnight. So we were collected from our hotel very early with all our luggage and went to the mud baths etc. Feel free to ask me any questions. I liked the mud baths and the boat to see the turtles but this hotel was hard work. We got so hot and bothered and the meal was not nice.
I rarely say that. I would not recommend the trip as a check out but I would recommend it as a day trip. But head back to your hotel!

Cheap Holidays Guide to Dalyan - Dalyan Boat Tours 2014
Come to the tiny town of Dalyan in Mugla with The Co-operative Travel, and you'll find an area rich in natural beauty and historical interest.
Considerably less developed than other resorts along Turkey's Mediterranean coast, Dalyan consequently offers the chance to explore a rich heritage without having to join long queues.
The richest variety of these can be found on the side of the channel which splits Dalyan into two known as Kaunos of Dalyan. Excavations have uncovered buildings and artefacts dating the site from around 3000BC, including baths, the Acropolis, and no fewer than four temples.
Dalyan is an ideal place to immerse yourself in real Turkish culture, with other nationalities as yet having little chance to make themselves felt here. That means that the friendliness and hospitality you will experience on a package holiday or all-inclusive holiday will be completely genuine.
Enjoyable evenings out in Dalyan
Many Dalyan hotels make a point of offering authentic Turkish nights, but rather than being the watered-down affairs so many destinations offer, many visitors have returned commenting on how enjoyable these occasions, with traditional food, along with music and belly dancing, proved to be.
Many Dalyan hotels make a point of offering authentic Turkish nights, but rather than being the watered-down affairs so many destinations offer, many visitors have returned commenting on how enjoyable these occasions, with traditional food, along with music and belly dancing, proved to be.
Excursions in the area all offer a similar theme - the chance to commune with nature. The resort is surrounded by wetlands which are a haven for birds and other wildlife, while both the thermal springs of Sultaniye and the local mud baths will give you an invigorating holiday experience.
Dalyan's nightlife is largely resort or hotel-based, but this at least gives you the chance to get the most out of your package or all-inclusive deal.
If you prefer your attractions of the natural and historical variety, a Dalyan holiday from The Co-operative Travel will surely make a great deal of sense to you.
