Vietnam Hanoi Vlog -ITA-
Hanoi

Review by Nicole Allmann:
The Nam Hai Resort, on the famous China Beach is located just outside of Danang
Offers 60 single bedroom villas and 40 pool villas with multiple bedrooms designed by architect Reda Amalou from Paris
Must do: The half-day course cooking class Follow the Chef program- starts with the freshest ingredients collected from the resort's own garden and ends celebrating with the other participants a true culinary feast with spring rolls, Vietnamese noodles and banana blossom salad
WorldTop7 Kids Tip: the kids have their very own children's shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap (bear shape) as well their own bathrobe with own slippers ready
At Check-in you can choose a Timeslot for room cleaning (Villa will be cleaned twice a day)
WorldTop7 Insider Tip: Sufficient distance between the villas (as opposed to the Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, Nha Trang)
Room Tip: One Bedroom Villa is very spacious; two small walking closets on each side of the bathroom are a great addition
Good to know: the upscale and trendsetting guests mostly come from Europe, America, Australia and the UK
It is only a 15 min drive away from Hoi An City Centre; 30 minute drive away from Danang Airport
Pool villas have bespoke butler service, plunge pools with thermal control, outdoor rain showers, kitchenettes; other villas also have concierge service
WorldTop7 Family Tip: Kid’s Club that offer supervised activities like board games, kite making, baking, and learning the local language
We love that here are enough power points in the room
The Nam Hai is located on a beautiful beach; in December it can be a bit too windy & rainy to swim in the sea but there are three expansive swimming pools with separate adult and kids pools
Staff super professional & English speaking, the Nam Hai does have more then 500 employees who take care of your daily needs
When to go: March/April/May - June & July a bit too warm; Busiest time is Eastern-X-Mas/New Year

Exploring Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam
Today we meet with Khoa, Lai, a reporter from VNExpress, a big media agency in Vietnam. We walk around, talk about setting up a time to meet further for a video interview and exposé on my tour and impressions of Vietnam. Johann also gives me a riding tour of Ho Chi Minh on his motorbike, hitting some of the major scenic and cultural spots in town. We also visit the bike shop where we will repair and reequip the tiger duck, and eat some great food along the way.

Myanmar's INCREDIBLE INLE LAKE! | 12 Things to do by BOAT and BIKE
Inle Lake is a must see sight for any trip to Myanmar, made famous by it’s incredible floating villages and leg rowing fisherman... But there are so many more incredible things to do: including hidden gems like a vineyard, hot springs and a tofu village! In this travel guide, we will cover it all.
Whether you explore by boat tour or bike tour, these are the things you have to see!
0:41 - Taking a LONGBOAT TOUR at SUNRISE
We booked a tour through our hotel (every hotel around the lake will do this for you, no need to book in advance). Sunrise is really worth it to avoid the crowds and see the lake in it’s best light.
2:10 - Floating Villages on Inle Lake
Inle is home to the Intha people who live and work in stilted bamboo houses on the water,
2:55 - Silversmith
Our first stop on the lake.
3:15 - Inle Lake Rotating Market
A market that moves around the lake every day. A good spot for souvenirs.
3:35 - Traditional Lotus Weaving Workshop.
A really interesting stop on our boat tour, there are a lot of products for sale too.
4:00 - Cigar Makers
Another good stop, well worth a try too - no tobacco, only natural ingredients!
4:12 - Shwe Indein and Indein Village
My favourite stop on the boat trip. The temples are ruined making it a great place to explore.
5:45 - Renting a bike in Nyaungshwe
The main tourist town of Inle is the best place to stay and rent a bike from. There are loads of different routes to take too.
6:13 - Khuang Daing Nature Hot Spring
A small spa with natural thermal springs. A great place to relax!
6:57 - Great Viewpoint over the Lake
Right opposite the hot springs is a really good viewpoint and small temple.
7:23 - Khuang Daing aka Tofu Village
Take a tour with Yam around the many different food spots in the village, most involve tofu - but not like any you’ve had before!
8:20 - Red Mountain Estate Vineyard
Inle Lake’s winery and vineyard is not only a great place to taste some local wine, but it also has some of the best views of the countryside. Perfect for sunset.

President Moon expresses regret over last year's no-deal Hanoi summit
문대통령의 지난해 아쉬운 점은 북미 대화 풀리지 않은 것
President Moon Jae-in spoke at an SBS radio show this morning to wish the nation a happy Lunar New Year holiday.
During the session, he pointed out, the biggest disappointment last year was how the Hanoi summit ended without a deal.
If there had been progress in Pyeongyang-Washington negotiations, we would have been able to advance the peace process on the Korean Peninsula as well as inter-Korean cooperation. I also regret being unable to give hope to the separated families who must miss their home and relatives even more on holidays.
Moon said the best gift to his mother, who passed away last October,... was accompanying her to see her separated sister during the inter-Korean reunion in 2004.
The President expressed regret over how he failed to keep the promise to take her to her hometown in the North.
This was the South Korean leader's third appearance on a radio show since he took office.
