Trip to a Hot Spring Theme Park - Oedo Onsen in Odaiba Japan
Most people know that a popular way to relax in Japan is to go to the onsen (hot spring). And in the summertime, a great way to have fun is to attend festivals. Well, Oedo onsen in Odaiba combines these two things in an onsen theme park.
People were asking about the onsen. They have an English website where you can find out all the details

DYA717 Izu Feb 7, 2017, Japan Izu Mishima Shuzenji
DYA717 Feb 7, 2017 Japan Izu Mishima Shjuzenji -- I had a cabbage-tuna salad for breakfast with yogurt. Gotta watch da beltline. At around 8:15, I left the hotel and went to the train station tourist info office for some advice on my BURA-BURA un-plans. AU-WE! They don’t open until 9 a.m. So I just went jump on the Izuhakone train. It is a private company so a JR railpass wouldn’t work here. Was maybe 45 min. and cost 510-yen. Along the way, I saw Mount Fuji from various angles – uuuuuuuuu, really nice! Got into Shuzenji town, went to their tourist info office and got some tips. I must have looked like one old bugger as the young lady said that I should catch a bus and I told her I like to walk so I did. It was about a little over 1.5 miles going uphill to the Onsen part of Shuzenji. Actually, the young lady gave me good advice since this walk wasn’t very interesting. Shuzenji has the oldest onsens in this part of the country and was/is a favorite of Tokyo people or before them, Edo people. Visited a coupla famous temples, climbed up a hill to get to a nice viewing spot of Mount Fuji.
Got back to Mishima around 1:40, I skipped lunch to save some calories and had a NATTO roll for a snack. At 3 p.m. I figure I going beat anyone up to the 12th floor onsen this hotel keeps boasting about. Wow, was nice. I was the only one so I went snap away at a few pictures. I’m not sure this is just a plain old public bath or one real onsen bath with waters from a thermally heated, mineralized water from some volcanic source. Whatevers, the water was just a little hotter than tepid to me. I must be getting used to the really hot onsen waters. Didn’t feel like eating anything so I went to the convenience store (Family Mart) and got me a MA-NA-PU-A and one PI=ZZA PU-A – one had meat only it didn’t taste like those in Hawaii and the other had pizza fillings. ONO! OK, so I killed time waiting for the free saimin! Got downstairs at 9:25 p.m. to find I am #2 in line! Da nerve! The ramen was same as last night, ONO. I forgot my camera so you gotta be satisfied with last night rament picture. I was satisfied and called it a day!

Exploring #Atami Japan - with Bart from Poland
Atami is a seaside city on Japan’s Izu Peninsula, in the Shizuoka Prefecture southwest of Tokyo. It’s set on volcanic hills within the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, which is also home to Mount Fuji. A prominent resort for centuries due to its numerous natural hot springs, it has several public onsen baths and an artificial sand beach on Sagami Bay.

Lakeside Ryokan in NIKKO, JAPAN // JP17 ep.4
Hey guys! Welcome to another vlog from Japan. This time we're heading up to Nikko in Tochigi prefecture. 2 hours north-west of Tokyo and surrounded by mountains, Nikko is an up and coming city for Japanese tourism that's seen significant development since I was last there in 2009! We visited the beautiful Lake Chu-zenji, or Chu-zenji-ko in Japanese, and spent the night at a beautiful ryokan (traditional style hotel) with an onsen (hot spring)! Close to the lake is the magnificent Kegon Falls, but there's other onsen towns in the Nikko area as well as many other attractions like the beautiful shrines and temples of Toushogu and Rinnouji, which has a huge golden Buddha statue, dating back to the BC years(!) plus the Shinkyo (God Bridge). There's also the Tobu company's World Square, a park containing minature sculptures of Japan and the world's most famous landmarks, and nearby is also Edo Wonderland, a theme park which aims to re-create a Japanese village from the Edo Period with various performances and activities like a Geisha theatre, archery, samurai battles, traditional street food and shuriken (ninja star) throwing!
Nikko is well worth a visit, and the secret is getting out! The Nikko All Area Pass is good for 4 consecutive days. It will get you there and back from Tokyo's Tobu Asakusa station as well as unlimited rides all around Nikko on the Tobu buses, plus discounted entry into some attractions! - Don't forget to budget an extra few thousand yen per person to get those seats on the Limited Express trains and entry into the shrines, temples and anywhere else you might want to visit!

草津温泉日本(pemandian air panas kusatsu japan) GO!!
This onsen resort is famous as one of the three major onsen in Japan. The unique bathing method of jikanyu (timed bathing) and yumomi (water beating) are customs that have been passed down since the Edo period. In addition to the high spring quality, the atmosphere of the resort is attractive with the Yubatake (literally means hot water fields, a wooden facility for thermal moderation of the water) located at the center. Also, this onsen resort boasts the greatest amount of hot spring water discharged in Japan. Among the top 100 Onsen selected by travel pros, Kusatsu Onsen has ranked No. 1 in Japan for 13 years in a row! In both name and reality, this onsen resort is representative of Japan.
