Taketa City in Oita Prefecture
Have you ever heard of Taketa City in Oita Prefecture? If you are looking for something different from artificial tourist attractions, Taketa is a place for you to go. It takes about 150min by car from Hakata Station to get there. Taketa is abundant in amazing landscapes. For example, the Kuju Highland is breathtakingly beautiful especially when you go off the main roads. Furthermore, the ruins of Oka Castle are famous all over Japan. The castle`s main structures were torn down due to the Meiji restoration. Its grand stone walls which still stand there were built with astonishing technique, making the castle ruins outstanding up to today.From the 325m high plateau near the castle, you can get a spectacular view. Once a year, Chikuraku (Taketa Bamboo Lantern Festival) is held. More than 20,000 lanterns create a romantic and kind of mysterious atmosphere. A unique festival you shouldn`t miss. Taketa also has Onsen to offer. Nagayu Hot Spring are highly carbonated and popular.

【★012★Oita Beppu Hot Spring Baths (Onsen) Myoban Yunosato】
Located within the hot springs prefecture of Oita in Kyushu is the world famous hot springs resort town of Beppu. Visitors can experience eight different springs here: Beppu, Kannawa, Myoban, Kankaiji, Hamawaki, Kamegawa, Horita and Shibaseki. And, not only is there a variety of springs, there are many different type of baths offered here. In additional to the conventional indoor and outdoor onsen (hot springs bath), there are facilities which offer sand baths, steam baths, or mud baths.
Myoban Yunosato
It is located in the Myoban district on the slopes above the city. Yunosato provides indoor and outdoor baths with good sulfuric waters. The outdoor baths have majestic scenery The complex also features shops and huts for the production of yunohana (encrustations left by hot springs).
Hours: 10:00 to 22:00 (until 21:00 from Nov to Mar)
Last entry is one hour before closing time.

The Northern Area of Kumamoto Prefecture - Nature, Hot Springs, and History All in One Place
Northern Kumamoto Prefecture, which consists of the four cities Tamana, Yamaga, Kikuchi, and Nagomi,
is renowned for its unspoiled nature, soothing hot springs, and historical sites.
Home to one of the world’s largest calderas, the recently Global Geopark-certified Aso area and its sprawling
greenery are the pride of Kumamoto. The numerous naturally occurring hot springs are also excellent for keeping athletes’
bodies in top condition. There are plenty of sights to see as well, including Kikuchi Gorge, and the Yachiyoza Theater,
which often features exhibitions of traditional dance and performing arts. In addition to that, you can also enjoy
delicious food like Tamana Ramen.

Mt. Tsurumi, Beppu Ropeway, Oita ????️ 鶴見●別府市 ????️ Japan As It Truly Is
A trip up the Mt Tsurumi Ropeway to the top of the mountain at 1375m (4511 ft) with a commanding view of the city of Beppu and its bay. You can also see numerous shrines and mini-temples at the top as well. The weather in this video frankly was not ideal, and other places like Inasayama in Nagasaki or Sarakurayama in Kitakyushu have much better views (as well as night views), but if you have a chance to go up Tsurumi on a clear day, ir is well worth it. The best time is in mid afternoon when the sun is over or behind you for taking photos and video. The last car going up is 5:30 PM and it closes at 6:00 - and if you're lucky, you might see a few wild deer nearby as well.

This time we went to the northern area of Saga City, right next to Fukuoka Prefecture. We visited Mitsuse, Nao, and Furuyu by car, and had a great time at these little-known but amazing places. There are plenty of natural beautiful landscapes, small cafes and hot springs where you can find relaxation for your body and soul. In addition, we got the chance to experience traditional crafts at a workshop and learned a lot about the simple life from the early days at a guest house. The best way to reach those unique places is by rental car. It only takes one hour from Fukuoka City. Give it a shot and visit the northern area of Saga.

The miracle hotspring Shichirida hotspring 奇跡の温泉 七里田温泉 下ん湯 GoPro HERO6
アウトドア歴40ン年のおやじのブログ的動画。
大分県竹田市の七里田温泉下ん湯は日本有数の炭酸温泉。換気扇を常時つけてないと酸欠で倒れる人もいるらしい。以前、TVで日本一危険な温泉と紹介されました。温度が37℃前後と温いのですが、これ以上温度が高いと気泡が減ってしまいます。奇跡的な温度と含有量なのです。
Shichirida Onsen Shitanyu of Taketa-shi, Oita is a Japanese eminent carbon dioxide-containing hot spring. There seems to be the person who falls down by lack of oxygen when I do not always attach a ventilation fan. It was introduced to be the Japan's most dangerous hot spring before in TV.Temperature is around 37 degrees Celsius and warm one, but air bubbles decrease if temperature is higher. It is miraculous temperature and content.
